"And that's a lot like what was happening with the dragon, yeah," Jaime continues. "It was a lot like it was just kind of. Rotting. And the rot starting moving around and attacking things itself."

"I don't think things are going to be getting any less serious here on out."

"It's always been serious here. I guess we just took it for granted, with all the downtime." He knows he's a little guilty of it, too, though he's been making an effort to keep up with his notes as much as possible.

"And it is. It's always easy to forget when you can't immediately see everything going on. It's why I've been pushing to get this hospital started. Superheroes are all well and good, but people always get hurt, especially when there's violence."

"It's good work, Mom. Even getting it started would've been awesome, but it's all set up, like, completely. You did an amazing job here."

"The hospital's been in the works for months, and it's not completely finished," she says, reminding him. "We had to open early. Besides, it wasn't just me, I had more than enough help."
