Silently saying, 'Since when has being dumb stopped anyone?' and 'Yes, exactly,' in a single glance is not the easiest task, but Septimus somehow manages it in the look he shoots at Bianca.

As for Raine, well, his glance is a lot more measuring and thoughtful. She definitely thinks a lot more like an Aleran than his brain wants to insist she should, given her features--so he'll roll with this. "That's the thought, yes," he agrees. "A secondary class for those who have been learning first aid, about working in the field. Both more stop-gap measures and a little of how to approach the role in combat.

"Then from those volunteers, keep a duty roster of field-medic-on-call if any groups are going out and want the support."

"Sensible." He's definitely got her approval, even if he wasn't looking for it. "I can likely help with organization and teaching, if you need it. I have experience with teaching and I spent much of the last year healing in combat situations, so while I may not be able to pass down artes, I can certainly teach the tactics I've learned." Which she likes to think work, as she is standing here now.

As an aside: "When are the first aid classes, by the way?" She has an interest in picking up techniques usable without magic. Just in case.
