He wasn't sure what the smile he had was meant to convey. It just felt as though it was there and didn't really have any kind of emotion behind it. He hadn't appreciated it, but he refrained from commenting on it, believing that she could help it. But that the anger wasn't something that was going to go away, not for a long time, if at all.

What he would do though, is take the costumes subject and run with it because it was another thing to steer away from what had been said.
