Getting to be that way--but not quite yet. And, really, that trait was what set Dick apart a little. Lois has always privately hoped he'd never fall into it completely. So if he hasn't yet, she's going to do everything she can to encourage that.

"As far as I'm concerned, those are pretty good priorities." She may or may not be joking, too.

At least he's not dodging the question. She leans against the counter, studying his face. "No, I wouldn't really expect you to be. I don't know Damian as well as I do some of you, though. I don't know how to tell how bad off he is."
