Situation: Garrett doesn't understand these newfangled technologies. Luckily Mike does.

Mike got directions to the guy's place, did a quick review of the things he had learned specific to these consoles, checked the Glock and holster on his hip, and then donned his jacket before heading out. It didn't take him too long to make his way over to the Water Sector and then to find the specific suite. Fortunately, the kedan seemed to have organized their housing in a blend of western and eastern styling, making it easy to find the building and then the specific housing number.

He gave a few solid, distinct knocks on the man's door and then took a step back out of habit. It took conscious effort not to lift a hand to hover over his gun. The agent didn't often go to stranger's houses without a partner beside him. "It's Mike."

"Alright," Mike begins, getting comfortable. He pulls open the console's main program, already logged in with Hawke's ID, and glances over the commands. "Why don't we start with you telling me what you know. Then I can work on teaching you everything you still need to."

Hawke points lazily at the console. "I know how to turn it on and talk to people. That's about it." Security wise he knows nothing. When it comes to sending programs to other people he's lost. Any basic search function goes right over his head.

In short, he's kind of hopeless.

"Right. You better get comfortable. We'll be here for awhile." He smiles as he says it, not too bothered by the idea. It might take all day, but Mike's confident he can teach Hawke the different methods, about what makes it anonymous versus identified, and provide a pre-written level of encryption at 60% that, although not amazing, is better than the default. Plus anything else he might ask about or need to know.

Hawke listens and asks questions when it comes to something he doesn't understand, which is mostly everything. Any technical terms fly right over his head. Occasionally he finds himself zoning out during an explanation only to snap back once Mike's finished forcing Hawke to ask him to do it again. By the end of it, Hawke's head is spinning.

"This...is not going to be easy." Thankfully Hawke has more than one person attempting to help him with this.
