Clark disappears in a rush of wind, and in a second Superman is in front of Hal with a grin on his face. Hal, who's known Clark for years, probably will be able to tell the smile doesn't quite reach his eyes but the fact that he's honestly trying to keep himself distracted instead of flying to the "fortress" of solitude is already a really good sign.
