It's... hard to say. Changing things... changing the future... there's so many variables, so many things you have to consider. And I've thought about it, believe me. It might be a better idea to simply work to fix it after the fact than trying to change it prior to.

[She hadn't really expected much in the way or reassurance, so any answer from Eva in return was better than none. The faintest flicker of hope that maybe...just maybe there was something she could do.]

[Her resolve strengthened once more, and she absently wiped at her eyes as she fully turned to look at her.]
