Location: The Mainland.
Situation: These characters are tracked down by an NPC and given some information, as well as asked a few things in return. Individual scenarios are in the main body of the post itself.
Warnings/Rating: Shouldn't stray much above pg-13, but if it does I'll let you know.

Could be. I don't know much about him.

[He's not exactly the sort to traipse out into the desert.]

[sophos]

[A nod. She'll poke around herself about it later, if she can.]

[But then she goes quiet for a moment. She needs time to sit and analyze everything she's heard from Eva, what she's agreed to do. Trying to do so right now while carrying on a conversation isn't working well.]

You said you can give me something from home? What if there's... not really anything you want or need? [Since she's found her computer, and she's got her knife and cap.] You can't bring people, right?

[Not that she's sure she could willingly ask Eva to bring someone here. But it's a question worth asking.]

[wroughtiron]

No. Nor would I, frankly. That's Eshai's game, and I'm not exactly a fan of it. Items... don't have families to miss.

[She glances down a little, there's something about the flicker in her expression that suggests sadness of some sort.]

[sophos]

[She shakes her head.] I wouldn't have wanted you to regardless.

[It's an expression Annabeth understands all too well.] I don't suppose I could... check on someone, could I?

[wroughtiron]

I could do that, yes. What would you like to see?

[It's a slightly more complicated spell, but it's well within her ability to perform.]

[sophos]

[There's a few seconds of a pause before she answers.]

His name is Percy Jackson. I hadn't seen him in six months, and that was when I first got pulled to this place. Could I just... see if he's okay?

[She's trying not to get too hopeful, that Eva can do this. She doesn't want to be disappointed.]

[wroughtiron]

[She nods, and reaches out into the air. It shimmers beneath her fingers, turns opalescent and then into a quicksilver mirror.]

Tell me something about him. Something no one else but you would know. It's... harder, otherwise. I can't anchor a view. Or if you have an item at all that he would have touched...?

[sophos]

[There are so many things she knows about Percy. The first thing that comes to mind is his Achilles heel, so to speak. Her. The spot on his back. But she can't share something like that with a complete stranger.]

Our first kiss was in the middle of a volcano about to explode. [She'd never told anyone that. She doesn't think Percy has either. Her fingertips touch the beads around her neck.] He's touched these before. Does that count? And I have a hat - he's worn it. Which would be better?

[wroughtiron]

[The mention of the kiss gets a slightly raised eyebrow, but she nods.]

That should be enough. Let's see...

[The surface of the mirror shimmers, settles, and shows a distant image of Percy. After a moment it focuses on him more directly.]
