Situation: Wan is attempting to possess Asti; others are acting as distractions/helping power boost

The log is going to be broken up between the following Event 'points' just to manage them easier:

Pre-Possession Power-Up (Mingle for those powering up Wan before his group heads to the Turtle's Head)
Pre-Distraction Meet-Up (Mingle for the distraction teams to finalize tactics or throw caution to the wind)
Possession Attempt (The actual possession attempt)
Distraction Group One (Headed up by Dante, this group is going to be dealing with the cultists directly)
Distraction Group Two (Network distraction group and/or different group of cultists)
End of the Day (for people to deal with the fallout of the event if they want to do so in this log)

ANYONE can tag in and take part in any of the threads except the Possession Attempt itself - that's closed to Wan, Valdis, Zuko, and Katara so the group is small and less easily noticed.

Tony moans again and slumps against Gene, and he doesn't answer for a while. That sudden movement when he was getting himself out of the armor was a really bad idea, and he's focusing very hard on trying not to hurl.

"Yeah," he mumbles eventually. "Figured that out." He takes a gulping breath, fighting down another rush of sharp, twisting nausea. "Too much contradicting input. Overloaded the nanobots. Must've burned them out."

Gene pulls Tony close when he slumps against him, running his fingers through Tony's hair in a soothing manner for a moment...until he remembers that Raine is like, right there. Welp. Oops.

Tony's words send his own gut twisting. Tony had told him about Extremis and the basics of how it worked, the nanobots that had fixed him up and repaired his heart. If they're burned out... "Are you going to be okay?" he asks, a bit of panic creeping into his voice. Hey, he doesn't know how your creepy augments work!

Raine looks equally alarmed for a moment, remembering what Tony had said about Extremis being the thing that rebuilt him. She doesn't know the full particulars, but this can't be good. She casts another healing arte quickly enough, because that's all she's got and at least she can help the organic parts of him. "Heal."

Gene's question would be the next one to her mind, though, so for the moment she's silent, studying Tony mostly. His mana feels about normal for a human, he's no longer bleeding, and if there was anything else she could affect, that last arte should have done it.

...does Gene know what his hand is doing?

"You should get him somewhere safe," she says, quietly. "With as little jarring as possible. I don't think I can do much more right now."

"Dunno. I guess. Probably," Tony says unhelpfully. The fingers in his hair are nice, though they don't do much to lessen the breathtaking agony pounding inside his skull. Raine's healing artes are having more of an effect, but Tony's still in a significant amount of pain.

He dimly realizes that Gene sounds like he's kind of freaking out, and 'maybe' probably wasn't the answer he was looking for, so he musters up the strength to add, "I'm not dead, so I should get better. Nanites from the rest of my body'll replicate."

Oh!! Okay!!! Tony's not dead so everything's going to be just peachy!!! Gene bites down on the frustrated sarcasm that's threatening to spill out because he's so, so worried about Tony and so, so irritated that he was stupid enough to have a back door into his head that Malicant could enter in the first place! Dramatic irony, party of one, your table is ready.

"I can take him back to his suite, and you can come check on him later," Gene says to Raine. "If anything goes drastically wrong, I'll let you know." Read: he will teleport in front of her in armor while screaming. "I'll keep an eye on him." He looks at Tony. "You think you're up for going to your suite?"

There's enough going on right now, and she's been doing healing enough today, that Raine doesn't insist on keeping eyes on Tony herself. She nods, trusting Gene's evident concern and apparently responsible nature to look after Tony as much as is possible. "I'll come by in the next day or two to see how he's doing," she says. "One of your suites is probably the best choice, yes." Tony should not actually get a say in whether or not he rests, with how terrible he seems. "Be careful."

"Okay," Tony answers Gene weakly, even though in reality he doesn't feel up for anything, except maybe wishing that Malicant had just finished him off.

He's a little surprised when Raine foists him off on Gene and washes her hands of him (his privileged upbringing at work: he's accustomed to luxurious private medical facilities and getting treated by whole teams of concerned doctors). But his current emotional range is limited to 'ow' and 'pathetic,' so he doesn't really have the energy to feel angry or hurt or offended.

Gene nods at Raine. "I will," he says, then steps back, armors up, and grabs Tony and the armor before zapping off to Tony's suite in the Metal Sector.

Rest assured, Stark, Gene's not letting you out of his sight for a few days, and not even in a fun way. In an 'I'm-going-to-literally-sit-on-you-to-keep-you-from-getting-up-and-worsening-your-condition' way. Which isn't going to be fun for...anyone, really.
