February Catch All
Characters: Nelo Angelo/Vergil, and open!
Date: Throughout Febuary.
Location: Around the Shell, and Evidet.
Situation: Random things that Nelo Angelo does to pass time.
Warnings/Rating: No warnings.
Scrap yard
After aquiring a coat from the money from the scrap he had collected with Valdis when she found Revelations, he headed back out that way. Simply to look around more then anything else. The cold nipped at his face but it wasn't as bad as he expected it to be. He looked around, keeping Valdis' warning to not take too much in mind still. A little more money would be nice, since he was still a little worried about taking work from the Kedan after he got ripped off last time. It had been embarrassing to say the least, a knight of Mundus' army ripped off by a shop keeper.
Every now and then he would look up at the sky watching the snow fall, as if spacing out watching it. Snow was like rain to him, something he had heard of but not seen before coming to this world. It fascinated him. He would randomly hold a hand out to catch some of the falling flakes.
Marketplace
Having sold off more of the collected scrap, Nelo was walking around his hands in his pockets looking over items for sale. He avoided a certain shop of course, he didn't want to deal with anything that shop keep might have had to say. He was looking for more books in a language he could read, which was not exactly an easy thing.
He kept looking up to the rooftops wondering if any of the people he had met when he was people watching were around anywhere, and the kind dark haired girl who had been concerned over his headache. The people here were so kind at times he didn't know how to take it. It was strange but nice. He still expected the other shoe to drop soon, but he was hoping it didn't.
Midnight Hotel Lobby & Room
Making his way in after a long day of wandering the shell and Khatronma he shook some snow off his coat and out of his hair, kicking snow off his boots, he made his way inside. A couple things in a bag in his hand. He looked around when he entered, looking for Anton or Dante. If he saw either he would walk to them to at least say hello.
Otherwise, he made his way up the stairs to his room. This is where he spent most of his time. Either rereading the cook book he had bought or carefully practicing with the zweihänder blade, always super careful not to hit anything or make too much noise. He didn't want to let his skills weaken by idleness, but he had promised no violence in the hotel. So he had to be careful in these times.
Sometimes he just tried to sleep, and that was when Mundus seemed to invade his dreams, it was not really Mundus of course. He would wake in a panic and remember exactly why he should not be lowering his guard so much. It was a hard thing to keep on guard all the time wen people made it so easy to let them close. Mundus was a good reminder of why he couldn't allow himself to be soft like that. It was never a good idea.
Midnight Hotel Kitchen
Every few nights he could be found in the kitchen experimenting between the cook book's orders, and whatever Dante had brought home that day. He found a nice zen when cooking. It was a useful skill he had never had a need for before he awoke on the shell. Since arriving his color was improving a little. He hadn't gained much weight but he didn't look as bad as he did when he arrived and first started moving around without his armor.
On nights that he was by himself or had bought something himself to cook he was willing to share. To have someone test what he made.

"...So it seems." He wanted to argue it but it was kind of nice having a brother, having Dante there for him and knowing now that it was true made him feel he needed to stop fighting that one. He stopped and turned, bowing his head as he knew to be a proper greeting. "I am Nelo Angelo." He introduced himself. "and you?"

Nelo's reaction hadn't really given him anything to work with one way or the other, but that in turn gave him some information. Namely, that Nelo didn't have much of an emotional reaction to Dante. That could be beneficial.
Gene bowed his head in turn, a little amused by the formality of the greeting. "Gene Khan. Good to meet you."

Nelo had become fond of Dante, but living in hell as long as he had he knew better then to give strangers an inch. Friends and family were collateral, things to be hurt and used. Dante deserved better then that. "Do you stay in the hotel as well, Mr. Khan?" He asked as he stayed still ignoring anyone walking their way to give the other his attention. He's curious but would never flat out admit it.

"Yes - as do most of the Foreigners." He'd still barely been able to make headway on getting Akito to trust him, and he was still baffled as to why the boy had cooled so quickly on their friendship. "We've become a little tight-knit of late."

He wasn't sure what else to say but he was out of his element. Granted, he is always out of his element anymore.

He wasn't sure how much of this Nelo knew already, but he didn't mind being Basil Exposition every now and then.

"Though I did not know those here were not always poor. "

ungratefulkedan now."So we're trying to build up our assets again."

"I am not keeping you from anything with our conversation am I, Mr. Khan?" Even if Wan approached him he worries a bit.
nothing, nothing, tra la la~
"But yes, they do appear to be mellowing. Which is good news for us, I suppose." Never mind that he still had to deal with all of the different family considerations for his own ends. Ah, politics.
