Extreme Makeover: Keeliai Edition - March Log

Date: Throughout March, until the 21st
Location: The Palace of Landed Sky and surrounding environs
Situation: Let's tear this bitch down.
Warnings/Rating: Drug addiction/withdrawal references in the Dust threads, most likely

The demolition is now in full swing and will last until late March, largely run by Zanru and the Metalworkers (as part of the deal), though individual Foreigners can be hired to help (and the help would likely be appreciated, as the Foreigners are going to get some of this too). Hired Foreigners will report to Xuiyu, as Zanru herself is too busy to be on-site. Gene can be found helping with the destruction, in his armor more often than not, over the course of the demolition project, and answering questions and taking suggestions from Foreigners and kedan about what to do with the newly freed land.

However, from the 4th to the 11th, there is Dust contamination, which is sickening some of the workers - Foreigner and kedan alike. It's not too much of a hindrance, and the demolition seems to be on track to finish on-schedule, by March 21st.

Wan lifted his map and notes up, showing the Chinese writing on them, "I'm trying to figure out a riddle. Do you use the computers much?"

"Occasionally," Tazendra said. "When there is news."

[raavashing]

He scooted over and invited her to sit with him with a gesture, "Well, last month the consoles in most of the sectors had some strange strings of symbols and this month I was sent a message by someone with one of the symbols attached. It's a riddle of some sort and I'm trying to figure it out."

Tazendra sat. "If it is a riddle, for what purpose was it given?"

"Apparently to find something," he said, pointing to his notes. "The riddle says that if we go to the right place at the right time, something we need will become real."

"But what do we need? We have triumphed over Malicant?"

[raavashing]

Wan opened his mouth to respond and had to lean away to cover his mouth as he coughed. It was not a usual symptom of the poisoning because Wan had caught a cold before getting dragged into quarantine. He was convinced he'd been misdiagnosed because of it. It made him a little bitter about being there.

"It might not be related to Malicant," he said after he was able to speak properly, patting his own chest heavily a couple times to try and clear his lungs. "It might be something else whoever sent this thinks we need. I don't know what it is."

"But is that someone a friend or a foe?" Tazendra wasn't sure why they couldn't speak plainly. "I suppose it doesn't matter. We shall solve it, and then we will see where it leads."

[raavashing]

"That's the plan," Wan agreed and pulled some blank paper out for her to use. "Feel free to play around with it. Anything you come up with can only help."

"I am not skilled at puzzles," Tazendra said. But it was something to do...

[raavashing]

"I'm not really, either," he laughed, having to break it off when another coughing fit hit. "But it's worth trying right?"

"Anythign is worth trying," Tazendra agreed
