Extreme Makeover: Keeliai Edition - March Log

Date: Throughout March, until the 21st
Location: The Palace of Landed Sky and surrounding environs
Situation: Let's tear this bitch down.
Warnings/Rating: Drug addiction/withdrawal references in the Dust threads, most likely

The demolition is now in full swing and will last until late March, largely run by Zanru and the Metalworkers (as part of the deal), though individual Foreigners can be hired to help (and the help would likely be appreciated, as the Foreigners are going to get some of this too). Hired Foreigners will report to Xuiyu, as Zanru herself is too busy to be on-site. Gene can be found helping with the destruction, in his armor more often than not, over the course of the demolition project, and answering questions and taking suggestions from Foreigners and kedan about what to do with the newly freed land.

However, from the 4th to the 11th, there is Dust contamination, which is sickening some of the workers - Foreigner and kedan alike. It's not too much of a hindrance, and the demolition seems to be on track to finish on-schedule, by March 21st.

Okay, neat. Good talk, Vergil.

"It was no trouble," Gene demurred, and also lied. Because it had been a lot of trouble - or at least, the aftermath had been.

"Good. I'm glad they're paying you." He would have needed to have some Words with the Metalworkers otherwise.

He shook his head some. "Maybe not to you, but to me it is." He lifted a hand to his eyes like he had a migraine forming. Damn near unbeatable and a little work had him dizzy and spacey, it made no sense to him. "I do very little for free."

"...glad to see you're recovering," Gene said. Because the way they'd both been stabbed was pretty gory and probably fatal if Valdis hadn't been Valdis and Vergil hadn't been...whatever Vergil is.

Vergil shifted Rebellion, so the tip was on the ground and his weight rested on the hilt. It was a lazy move, one more likely to be seen by his twin but he was much too stubborn to admit that he can also be just as lazy.

"How about this." He startes, after pushing his bangs back. "sometime, a later date you and I can speak when there is not so much going on around us."

"Sounds good," Gene said, nodding. And maybe they'd wait until Vergil was a little less...spacey. It didn't seem like he'd be getting much info of use out of him in this state. "I'm usually free in the early evenings, near the Hotel."

"I will call in advance than. " He spoke looking back at a random noise. "I should return to work now I suppose." He spoke in that same almost distant tone.

"Are you sure you feel quite well?" Gene asked, sounding concerned. "Perhaps you should take a break."

"It is pointless, a little work will not kill me." He spoke looking back at Gene a moment. "I will see you later." And he started to head off anyway, one thing about the sons of Sparda that is forever the same. The are both stubborn as hell.

Gene shook his head a little bit as he watched Vergil go. "Perhaps another time, then."

Man. Everyone was acting super weird lately. Gene sneezed - the demolition sure was kicking up a lot of dust - and went back to work.
