Characters: Alayne and Jack Frost!
Date: March 13th? Yes? Yes.
Location: The Hotel!
Situation: Meeting and bonding. Frandship ftw.
Warnings/Rating: Cute?

There were times that Alayne wandered around the Hotel, between projects, searching for familiar faces. Call it curiosity or the mere desire to stay connected with others - regardless, she drifted from hall to hall, humming to herself.

The song on her mind on this day was one she had heard at Winterfell long ago. Bards were a rarity in the North - mainly because traveling by foot was hard to do. Yet Alayne - no, Sansa - had enjoyed the presence of them so much that she had begged her father to let them stay.

They never did - or could. But she memorized their songs nonetheless.

However the tune came to a stop when she spotted a familiar head of white hair. Brightening, she hurried her steps and called out:

"Jack?"

For his part, Jack was glad to see more smiles from Alayne these days. They may not have the opportunity to run into each other as often as the spirit would like, but seeing her brightened his day. "Great, glad to hear it."

"Pretty busy, since it looks like people are starting to arrive more regularly. It's been easier since the kedan backed off and aren't as hostile right now. I swear, if I had ten bucks for every time their moods went through the wringer..."

"If you ever want to come by and help out for a couple hours, you're welcome to," Jack said brightly.

He grinned a little at her remark. "Pants sure make some things easier," he agreed. "Although I imagine it'll take a little getting used to for you."

"It used to be in mine too," Jack answered. "Well, 'unseemly', those were the kinds of words they used. When I started out, that's how things were. But really? People just don't like change. There's nothing wrong with a girl wearing pants, or for that matter, the other way around and a guy wearing a skirt. Terms like 'unseemly'... I don't know, there's a lot of things a person can do to be inappropriate. Wanting to wear the kind of clothes that are comfortable should be pretty low on the list for anyone with their head on straight."
