it's a brand new world [open]
Characters: Souji Seta & Anyone reading this line
Date: April 1st and onward
Location: Here there, a little bit of everywhere
Situation: For someone who's new, he doesn't seem that out of place.
Warnings/Rating: Tame as they come (mostly)
[ARRIVAL, TRAMWAY --> METAL]
While he would never consider himself a connoisseur of unusual situations, the first thing Souji did, when he snapped up and realized that the landscape that he was passing by weren't any he remembered, wasn't to panic but to stare more in curiosity...turning the simple bracelet that was now clasped around his hand, sporting a single, grey gem. Had, or was he dreaming? Or having taken a very, very wrong turn somewhere, no that was silly. Having ended up in an entirely different type of transportation, he felt his heart beat a little faster, even as his entire face was perfectly neutrality. He began to wonder if he'd been caught in another adventure.
But who, why, where, when? He put a hand on his head. He felt weaker, drowsier than usual too...
He got off at the next stop, holding on to his backpack tightly, looking at the buildings around him in wonder. It looked...slightly futuristic, and yet slightly colorless. But for someone with grey hair and eyes, Souji could almost pass as someone who fit in. Almost.
He began to walk around, to better figure out why he was here, but the looks he got from some of the populace walking by made him think it might be better to figure that out as soon as possible. Maybe if he could find someone that seemed out of place.
Too dizzy, he didn't even notice the public metallic garbage can he was walking right into...
[B - WOOD > FARM]
His eyes scanned around him, looking upwards what looked to be buildings completely made out of wood. Oh this! This looked absolutely amazing and he was already under the spells of the farm life, modified. This new world was interesting, although he still hadn't seen a single cat...
But then a sound behind him caused Souji to turn around, grinning.
Cows!
Wait...maybe not? It sounded like one, and honestly it still wasn't the best weather for them, but they looked odd. A bit....off...
It was only when he walked closer than he realized they were not sporting thick pelts like he had expected, but what looked like thousands of feathers in patterns like the animals he knew, yet completely unique. Tentatively, a hand reached over to the side of one and he ran his hand in it. Definitely feathers. Small quills that were fluffy to the touch, like newborn chicks.
"I wonder...do you even give milk, or do you lay eggs?"
Asking the important questions.
[C IS FOR CITY EXPLORATION]
"The Foreigner Welcome Center..."
He said the name aloud as he looked up. Having a few answers as to what exact situation he was in would be welcome.

He'd apologize soon enough.

"It's nice to see you again! Even if it's barely been a day...are the others with you?"
no subject
He leaned forward a little, almost expectantly. "But," he said, "they probably are around, right? If both of us are here, it'd make sense..."
Come on, partner, put the cow away and tell him it all makes sense.

"I met a few people along the way," he added. "They explained a bit about this world, but I wanted to find out more by my own...I didn't think you'd be here too." He shook his head, a hand still on the cow's head. "I haven't seen the others myself. If Rise was around, it would be easier to locate everyone, if they are here."
But a couple of weeks?
"Raine-san told me that if we go back home, time doesn't change...so maybe that's why. What's your last memory before coming here?"
no subject
Oh my god I'm late in everything sorry
He wasn't calling him a liar, he trusted him too much for that. It just meant something else entirely.

"Then... what, I'm from the future?" he said blankly. "I mean, you're from the...?" Inexplicably sci-fi as it was, it turned out to be the first conclusion his mind jumped to. How bizarre. It wasn't as if either of them had experienced something similar before. More annoyingly, it didn't do anything to suggest where he was supposed to jump next. "Dude... that seems so pointless, it's almost boring..."
But if that was the case, then the chances that the whole gang had been dragged into something at once had just taken their own plunge... hadn't they? He let a small frustrated noise out through his teeth, trying to think.
