Situation: Moving in, getting settled...housewarming parties?
Warnings/Rating: None anticipated. Please don't blow the new houses up. We just built them!

The Palace of Landed Sky has been largely demolished, and a good section of the land has been repurposed as Foreigner housing, should they choose to move into the new dwellings. But there's not just housing - there are shops and artisans and a space that may become part of the university. The new sector of the city is abuzz with possibilities.

[If Hiro knew about Abigail, he'd understand a little better where Callaghan's tone is coming from; as it is, he can only glance up, questioning, and chalk it up to the old man dealing with the reality of his own death.

Hiro's tired, too. He's quiet for a long time, finally sighing and nodding, sagging in his seat.]

...You're probably right. [A pause. He's still latching onto that at least for now, mulling it over in his mind, stashing it with the rest of the talk about the Dreaming and what it might be able to do.] If - there's not anything else to do, for now, then I just want him to be okay while he's here. That's all. Maybe not now, but eventually...

[For now. It's a stupid idea, but it's digging tenterhooks into his brain in spite of it.]

What would you do to cheer him up back home? Something familiar may be good for the both of you.

[He rubs the back of his neck, because oh boy. Callaghan doesn't know as much, but prior to entering the expo, well - it'd been awkward for a while. Part of it was his own fault, becoming more withdrawn as he had, but with Tadashi in school and Hiro in trouble on any given night of the week...

It'd been a little strained, for a few months. And then it was microbot time and that was all Hiro had focused on, right up until the fire, and Tadashi had helped him of course...]

I guess building stuff together was always fun.

What about starting a new project with him? Something to better your lives- or, better. Most of his projects in my classes were geared towards supporting others, rather than the individual- maybe you two could come up with something to, say, better a number of lives at once?
