[She takes back the doll and places a hand over it. Closing her eyes, she murmurs the proper spell. A slight gust of wind, just enough to be visible, swirls around the doll, though it otherwise does not appear to change in any way.]

I'll need something to tie it to you. A strand of hair, or a piece of clothing. Just something small.

[ Kara watches in utter fascination.

She blinks when Zee asks for a hair, but it quick enough to snap a few strands from her head and hand them over. ]

[She accepts the hairs, making quick work of tying them to the doll. Which still looked completely ordinary by any visual standards.]

[But then she took one of the needles from a nearby bin. Using her fingers to measure off something only she could properly understand, Zatanna found a certain spot just below the doll's armpit. Within seconds, Kara will feel a slight tingle in that area, as if her skin were being brushed by a single blade of grass.]
