A War of Dark and Light [July Catch-All]
Characters: Yuri Lowell and YOU!
Date: All of July
Location: All over Keeliai
Situation: Varied
Warnings/Rating: Some Violence
A) July 5th - Midnight Hotel
Yuri was late. This was pretty unusual for him as he was typically on time every day, always being in the kitchen in the mornings to serve breakfast. But this morning he was a no-show. There were likely some very disappointed and grumpy people as a result.
About an hour after he was supposed to be there, he finally does make an appearance. Walking casually into the kitchen as if nothing was out of the ordinary. Just going about his business and pulling out the cake he'd made the night before and setting it on the table.
Nope. Nothing to see here.
B) July 7th - Water Sector Pub (Closed to Shay)
This day Yuri was very on edge, for several reasons, but one of the big ones was the vision. The one where the innocent baby turtles had been crushed by the supposed force that was Malicant. It had been disturbing to say the least, and Yuri had mostly internalized his feelings about it. Which drove him to visiting a local pub in one of the poorest parts of the Water Sector. The sector that he actually felt the most at home in.
Unfortunately, he had gained the attention of a few Kedan who decided to press his buttons a little bit. Some jabs being made at the fall in of Erol'a trade, which led to him mouthing off and well... eventually someone threw a punch and it was just downhill from there. The place erupting into a full out brawl which had Yuri beating the crap out of a few of the Kedan. Some chairs and other articles flying across the room, the sound of breaking glass and angry shouts filling the air. One thing he hadn't taken into consideration though was that he was vastly outnumbered.
C) July 7th - Water Sectorish
After the fight, Yuri was promptly thrown out of the pub and slapped with a fine to help pay for the damages. Not that he particularly cared.
Now he was wandering the streets, beaten up and not seeming fazed by that at all. It was nothing serious after all, just a few bruises, cuts, and a split lip. Nothing he couldn't handle. It was the thoughts that weighed on his mind that troubled him the most, though you wouldn't be able to tell that just by looking at him.
D) July 11th and Onward - For Brave Vesperia members and those wanting to join.
In an attempt to get Brave Vesperia's name out there, Yuri is leading the effort into finding odd jobs for the group to do. A lot of it involving some light construction work in the Sky Sector to help out the Kedan building there. For some pay of course. Hope you're ready to get your hands dirty!
E) Anything else!

I'm so sorry Terra XD
He doesn't say anything. Probably because his stomach suddenly lurches and Yuri is now bending over the side of the canal and... Yeah there went the drink he had earlier.
asjdkl;ahaha best welcome to a new world, clearly
He waited a couple moments before speaking again, during which he cast a quick Cure. It was more subtle than the last spell, a sympathetic attempt at addressing the headache and sore throat that probably followed. "Easy," he repeated, "I gotcha. You all right?"
Atleast it wasn't on his shoes.
"I will be," Yuri said as he sat and stared at the ground while the dizziness continued.
Just give him a few minutes.
he truly appreciates that too
Hopefully troublemakers would think twice since there were two of them -- not to mention Terra was a total unknown -- but vigilance was a hard habit to break regardless.

Eventually Yuri pushed himself to his feet as the last little bits of dizziness dispelled.
"Sorry you had to see that," he muttered. Ugh, talk about timing.
no subject
He'd noticed the gem's change -- the second time, at least, when it switched back to its original hue -- so combined with that last remark, he put two and two together and made an educated guess as to whether it equaled four. "Some kind of aftereffect?" That was how Zatanna had phrased it, anyway.
no subject
And it was pretty annoying to boot. He needed to poke around and see if there was any way to fix this. He was about tired of putting up with it.
"Uh... thanks for your help. You new here?"
no subject
Then again, little about this whole affair sat well with him, even if he was grateful for the chance to be here, free and reunited with one of his friends.
"Don't mention it," he replied after a short pause. "But yeah, I just arrived a few days ago. My name's Terra."
no subject
Terra wasn't the only one who didn't like this vulnerable feeling regarding the soul gems. It was a nuisance at best, but as he came to find out, it could be quite a liability. The sooner something was done about what happens to their gems, the better.
"So is helping hopeless cases a hobby of yours or something?"
It was a good natured tease, accompanied with a wry smirk. Yuri knew he looked pretty pathetic right now, or at least did when Terra stopped him.
no subject
Pressing on the soul gem matter seemed unnecessary; he had a good idea of the nature of that incident (incidents), which was enough to tell him to watch his back. That was good enough.
"So are you one of the veterans of this place?" he asked. Terra may have only been here a few days, but he already knew some went back several years.
no subject
It just usually wasn't him that needed a hand now and then, but he didn't mind the help.
"Not exactly. I've been here a few months, but that's only been a short time compared to some of the others."
