On one hand he felt violated. She really had no business getting into his head like that without permission. He didn't even know she could do that kind of thing.
But on the other, he knew she was just trying to help. It was something Estelle would have done if she was capable of it. Good intentions, but then the road to hell is paved in good intentions. Thus there was a mix of emotions in him. He took a breath and then let it out with a frown. Then tossing the covers aside, he got up.
"I need some air," he said as he pulled on his clothes.

His careful mask did nothing. She could feel every bubbling emotion as they writhed throughout him in their confusing tangle. He was angry, and had every right to be.
Her heart came to a painful stop as he tossed the covers aside, and she could only watch helplessly as he gathered his clothes, her tongue useless. She turned her eyes away as he announced he needed space and began to dress, her eyes burning. How could the night have taken a turn this different from where it had started?
When she did find her voice, it was almost too late. "Y-Yuri..."

Once he was dressed Yuri went to the door, pausing as he opened it and heard her calling to him. But he said nothing, didn't even look at her, and in the next moment he walked out. A pang of guilt shooting through him as the door closed softly.

Her blood went cold as she stared at the now closed door shutting her in. She was shocked, and within moments, she could feel her heart breaking to the tune of the shaking, barely withheld whimpers that came from her chest.
He wasn't coming back. Not tonight... Maybe not ever. The realization cut her like a thousand icy shards.
She had chased away her closest friend by getting too close, and there was no way to give him back what she had taken. She had seen them all... One dark glance into his pool of demons. They terrified her, and would give her much to dwell on once the shock had worn off... But not nearly as much as the thought of losing him without understanding right now.
She lay down on her side, drawing her knees up tightly to her small bare form as she gathered the scrambled blanket over herself and buried her face in a pillow to muffle the sound of her crying.
She couldn't go after him. Not now, though she desperately wanted to. She would give him his space... The space he had deserved all along... And would suffer in silence, knowing she had made them both vulnerable.
