Situation: Vergil has come to see his friend.

He couldn't find Louis, which made him think maybe the other was already gone or simply decided against actually hearing him now that Valdis had given him the best gift he could be given. He felt like a weight had been lifted off him when he held the bow that first time. So, he didn't know who else to call on, so, he went to Michaelangelo. Knocking, and waiting. The violin case over his back as he waited. Who else would have cared.

"I have been known to enjoy music from time to time," he says with a slightly confused smile.

Mostly hard rock and/or Jimmy Buffet, but there have been a few times when he and his brothers have snuck into the symphony....normally during nerdtastic nights, like when they do live performances of Nosferatu, or the music from Star Wars but still: orchestra!

"Do you have a favorite type?" He asked as he placed the case down to remove the bow to get the resin put on it.

Between himself and his twin he had a lot of musical knowledge himself. Dante favored rock, while he classical and his never ending rivalry he had learned a few rock tunes on the classical instrument to combat with Dante's guitar.

"You don't happen to know Cheeseburger in Paradise do you?" he asks with a lop-sided grin.

He's mostly kidding.

"Or maybe Stairway?"

Okay...he's totally kidding here.

Vergil gave a flat look and sighed. "I know both. Dante liked both quiet a bit, I favor the latter if I must admit so."

And yes, he lifted the bow and started to play for Michaelangelo. Cheeseburger wasn't happening.

That's fine, Mike will totally accept a solo performance of Stairway.
Just as soon as the shock of having been taken seriously has worn off.

Vergil really needed to learn when people were messing with him, but hell. He figured Mike was serious. Opps. Once he finished playing he lowered the bow. "As I said, I am a bit out of practice."

Mike's jaw is still dropped, but once he finishes playing he snaps it shut with a click.

"That...that was one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard...."

"...Thanks." He's not used to praise on non-combat things. "Really this is all I came to show you. I only just got the instrument yesterday."

"...but you did know how to play before you got it, right? You didn't just, like, get it yesterday and just up and learn how to play overnight....right?"
