Situation: Valdis and 'Rue' have put together an All Hallows Eve Masquerade Ball.

The day has finally arrived and the morning and afternoon are spent putting together what will be the scene of the Masquerade Ball at the Courtyard of Public Opinion. Kedan can be seen coming and going, carrying in decorations and lights and later on, various foods and desserts. Valdis, and Rue can occasionally be glimpsed directing people and moving things around, but anyone not a part of the setup will be ushered on and discouraged from lingering.

As night falls, the Courtyard will be brightly lit and ready for guests...

Dove is as sociable as always, and appears to be bent on meeting as many people as she is physically able this evening. She's danced away almost half the even ending, and immortal or not, decides even angels can stop for a short refreshment break.

When she approaches the table to pour herself a drink, she can't help but make conversation, her smile graceful but bright as she addresses the young man across the way. "That's a very impressive mask...!"

The compliment makes Tony look up from his intense scrutiny of several previously undiscovered pastry offerings. "Oh— thanks!" He smiles, while piling one of each pastry onto his plate. "I just threw it together in the lab with some scrap. I'd have spent more time on the aesthetics if I'd known how gorgeous my competition would be."

Holy shit, Tony, where did that come from? That was actually pretty suave. Apparently the swanky surroundings are bringing out his much-neglected inner socialite.
