Escort Quests!
The last few months have been insane, and Arno's felt the pressure more than once. It's nice, really, to fall into a sort of routine, even as the Earthquake makes things crazy for a while, and the fog's a little foreboding. Still, he's made the best of things, wandering between important places in the city, where the fog's the heaviest. He's got his Sight, after all, and can use it for any number of things. An escort service seems like the best of possible things to offer, which has him wandering around, loudly asking if anyone would like some help getting somewhere. So far, he's had a few offers, but he's open to taking more. And while he isn't asking for money, if people want to tip him, it'd be useful.
Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat...
Arno's managed to make a few friends in the city in his nearly a year here, which is why it's rather important that he find items to show his appreciation. For the moment, this means digging through various shops and market. In particular, he'd like to find something nice for Shay. The man deserves a good turn, and he's thrown Arno many. Hopefully, he'll manage to find something nice...maybe that shiny thing there? Or the interesting sweater there? Or...something else entirely. It's rather hard to shop for friends, you know. Harder still for enemies. And enemies turned friends?
Well that's just complicated.
Here We Come A-Wassailing
After shopping and escort duties, Arno needs a bit of a break from time to time. He can befound in any number of restaurants and taverns along the way, the less fancy ones that fit his budget anyway, or sometimes in the Hotel itself. Usually he's lounging around, feet tucked up on the table like he owns the place, or perched backward on his chair, or rocking the legs back and forth. Either way, he'll have a cup in hand, and be glad to wave people over to join him if they'd like.
Enjolras:
Everybody Hurts
Enjolras is spending the first several days of the month in the Hospital, after the Earthquake tossed a large shelving unit onto him, breaking a good portion of his back, and leaving him unable to walk or pull himself out or do much of anything. There've been spells from the healers, but some still want to keep an eye on him, where he's restricted, mostly, to his bed, save for agonizing transfers to get washed every so often. He loses a lot of time, he's sure, in a haze of pain treatments and tea and all the like, and when he's not losing time, is often cranky as can be. Good luck taking your chances here, folks.
Lets Get Physical:
Later on, after he's allowed to go Home, again, that is, back to the corner of the Hotel where he claims floorspace, Enjolras can be found in various places through the hotel and City itself. often trying out his exercises in the former, and practically crawling through the town with first a pair of crutches that are hard to work and leave him exhausted, then a cane. Naturally, there's a pained, but determined expression every time he does it, muscle groups relearning what to do. He's prone to falling, quite a bit, but looking miserable, to push on through as well.
Distraction, or someone to talk to might be nice though.
