Situation: Yuri is looking for a Kedan baby's parents and also experiences going back home.
Warnings/Rating: None at the moment.

After finding a Kedan baby at the end of the last month, the first week of January saw Yuri looking for her parents. Despite asking around, and Anton's contacts, the little girl's parents had yet to be found. She was at least in good hands, being well taken care of by both Yuri and Dove. However, as he had planned, Yuri paid a visit to Milyn in the form of exchanging a favor for taking a dreaming trip back home. Starting on the 8th, Yuri wakes up again on the evening of the 10th, having slept for two days. It's then that he returns back to where he and Dove are staying at the guild house in the Sky Sector with Lambert at his side. Thinking about all that he had experienced and trying to process the fact that he'd lived several months in the span of two days.

A - Closed to Duke
Not long after he returns, Yuri is seeking out Duke. Which means going outside the city and into the forests surrounding it, because that's where he knows he'll find the guy who insists on living in seclusion. Lambert is with him of course, able to sniff out the guy far better than Yuri could ever hope to. So it's by the dog's nose that they're heading in the man's direction.

B - Closed to Dove and Sion
Once Yuri had settled in again into every day life on the turtle, things got back to relative normalcy. By this time it's in the middle of the month, just after the fog has finally lifted. A day with fair weather means going out into the city and doing some errands that are much easier to do now without the oppressive fog. Thus Yuri would be seen with Dove, walking with the baby in tow as they took turns holding her. Lambert protectively as he's also taken a liking to the tiny Kedan.

When he showed no signs of apprehension, she tightened her arms around his middle and buried her face into his neck, now nearly clinging to him.

He had come back to her in one piece. Despite whatever had happened to him and his world, he was whole.

Her anxiety about Milyn's abilities had waned quickly the more she had thought about it before his departure, only to be replaced by the fear of what had awaited him at home. She hadn't said a word; she had promised to support him, no matter her fear, and she had done just that. Luckily, fate had seen to it that he had made it through... Whatever it had been, even if he didn't feel a little worn down in her hold.

"Added more to that Long Story?" she mumbled, refusing, for now, to let good him.

His smile softened even more as she fully embraced him. His arms slowly going around Dove in return.

A lot had happened, but he was definitely in one piece still. Somehow. He felt a little bad for making her worry though.

"Yeah. ... Did I miss much?"

"Not... Really," she told him, settling into his embrace. "Era scared a few visitors with Aveline, but other than that..."

Oh yeah, the baby. He had almost forgotten.

"He's gotten pretty protective, huh?"

She grinned. "Just a little. I don't think he's left her alone since you left," she explained, drawing back just enough to properly look him over. He looked exhausted. "So... How are things back home? You okay?" Despite it being a simple question, she couldn't hide the shift of concern in her voice.

"Yeah, I'm okay. Everything's okay now."

He smiles, it was a tired smile but also a genuinely happy and relieved smile. Everything back home was okay now and he could be at peace being here.

Her eyes softened at the peace within him. Good.

Her gem pulsed softly as she reached out to lay a hand over his chest, her warmth flowing tentatively into him. "You should rest. You've probably over done it, as usual..." she sighed with a fond look and whisper, before reaching for his hand to guide him to at the very least sit.

Her warmth was soothing and helped him to relax s little more. Though he still have a smirk at her words.

"As usual... C'mon it was a piece of cake."

Liar.

All the same he let her take his hand and lead him to the small sofa where he sat. Resting didn't really sound like a bad idea at all.

She rolled her eyes and slid onto the couch before he could, tugging him down onto her chest and encircling him in her arms. "You liar."

She was warm, and would stay warm as she forced him into snuggling. He owed her, afterall.

Yuri really wasn't much of a snuggler, but he didn't argue when she pulled him down with her.

"Heh, is it that obvious?"

Resting his head against her, he had to admit this was pretty comfortable. Nice and warm too.

She giggled and stroked his hair slowly, enjoying the feel of it between her fingers as her Light glowed. Her warmth would radiate gently, healing and relaxing what it could, without her being direct about her healing. "It's that obvious," she confirmed, kissing the top of his head.

It was so, so nice to have him back.

He wasn't sure what it was about her, but Dove just had this way of making him relax and calm. Like some sort of magic that she had. Any tension he still had seemed to melt away under her warm, healing touch.

"Guess there's... No fooling you," he said groggily.

Sleep threatening to overtake him as her fingers ran through his hair. That felt really nice. His eyes falling shut as he relaxed completely.

Ha, just like a child... she thought to herself, continuing to stroke his hair. His weight on her was the most comforting thing she had felt in a while, even from before he had left. He was safe, and in the quiet of their home, she had to wonder how hard it had been for him to stay safe.

She watched as a few of the little remaining knicks and bruises began to fade under her light.

"So what happened to you...?" she ventured quietly, unsure if he was asleep or not.

He's still awake if only barely. Because he makes a simple one word reply to her question.

"Duke."

Yep, Duke happened to him. She can interpret that as she will.
