He had been so blind. The signs had been there and he had not seen them, or perhaps he hadn't wanted to. Memories flashed through his mind. That of his friend, his face twisted by darkness and hate. I hate you! And then the sight of him burning and writhing in agony.
If only he had known. Perhaps he could have stopped Anakin from destroying the Order and himself.
