[Open] Hope you don't mind being wet
Characters: Luke Skywalker and you
Date: Through June
Location: Around Keeliai
Situation: Catchall! Luke can be found in the gardens in the Sky sector a lot. Because trees.
A. Rain
The rain might be cold, and Luke had, even before coming here, found out that being wet and having wet clothes sticking to cold, clammy skin wasn't much fun... But on the other hand, it was rain, and it was still something that felt... special. Impossible, in a way.
So it's pretty easy to find him all over, probably just standing or sitting somewhere, face turned up towards the sky, eyes closed, and a small smile on his face. Completely drenched.
(Someone's gonna get sick one of these days.)
B. Eaten by peace
The tremors weren't anything new, but being caught by a wave of tranquility both like and unlike what could be experienced in the Force, but unable to break out of it... Luckily he probably wasn't doing anything in particular when it happened, might even seem to simply be looking at some greenery or another in the garden in the Sky sector until he breaks out of it, but either way, it's not something he'd like to see happen more than once.
Unfortunately, it does.
C.Floating rocks in the garden - Sky sector
It might be simple, but considering he'd had all of a month of proper training so far, maybe simple was best. And while he could get more help now, he just wanted... to make sure he had what basics he'd already gotten down properly. To that end, Luke was sitting on the grass, eyes closed, and keeping several rocks of varying size in the air around him.

"Hello."
The stones remained in the air around him kept completely still - he wanted to get to the point where he could keep them moving, perhaps, but for now this would do. Control, as Yoda used to try and beat into his head.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt. It's just been a while since I seen anybody do this."
He looked at the rocks and for a moment there was wariness in his posture. It hadn't been all that long, actually, if what Kylo Ren did to him counted. Poe tried to ignore the bad memories and give the blond a smile.
"Sorry to be blunt but you are a Force user, right?"
no subject
Then he blinked at the question and nodded.
"Yeah. Trying to train, otherwise I'm never going to get better," he chuckled, shaking his head.
no subject
"You seem to be going a really good job with the training. Where I come from we don't have many young users, being able to control the Force had become a rarity. My name is Poe, Poe Dameron. It's nice to meet you."

"You can take thy boy out of the desert..." he said with a smile. "Just wait until you start living on Yavin IV part time where it's raining as often as it isn't."
"Sometimes by my time, with everything we've been through by then, it's too easy to forget the younger you, when we were first starting out. It's kind of refereshing, I gotta admit it."
no subject
"I guess I get used to this sooner or later," he tipped his head, glancing up at the sky again, "but I hope it's a while yet. I mean, it's raining..."
Yes, that still felt a little magical, even with how distinctly non-magical being wet felt.
no subject
"Yeah it does take a little while. " he nodded. "In some ways you really had to grow up too fast, but some of the other little things did last a while longer." He said.
"Me, I'm still trying to get used to this. I feel sorry for Kylo, but have no idea how to handle him when I can't avoid him. And he hates the other me." He sighed. "I haven't been perfect but I get the feeling the other me had more problems. I'm starting to worry one of my kids will show up and the situation will get worse."
Not wanting to focus everything on himself, he turned attention back to Luke. "How are you handling this whole multiple realities thing?"
"

If there'd been only people talking of one thing, then he wouldn't ever have known, but now, when it was obvious there were at least two possibilities, well... While he was curious, still, it felt like there was less pressure on him. There was no way to know where anything would go, still, now.
"Yeah," he nodded, frown deepening as his thoughts went to Kylo and their... talk, "I sort of wish I could help him, but I get the feeling it's better I avoid him for now at least. You've talked to him?"
no subject
"I can try to answer questions if you've got any, but I don't want to overload you with anything you'd rather not hear...that's why I've been trying to go slow and let you pick the pace." he said. "Especially with you being so young, no one can tell which future you'll wind up in. It's got to be really confusing for you."
Luke asked about Kylo, and Han nodded. "Not on purpose. I kind of ran into him on accident. He was with that Hux guy and they had the other guy, Poe, about half dead by that point. And I couldn't just leave and let them kill the poor kid. They had his gem, and we all know what happens when someone does that. Plus it looked like they worked him over pretty good." Han shook his head.
"I didn't really want a fight, even though I've gotten into my share back home, but I did want to help if I could...fortunately, they just ran off. But not before I got a "my father is dead, I have no father!" from Kylo.

He approached quietly but kept his distance. No need to have rocks hurled at his head if he was near someone with a less than favorable disposition. He couldn't help a bit of teasing, still, and made a small stone rise. It knocked lightly against one of the rocks Luke was focusing on.

Not until something tapped against one of his stones, and maybe if he was a little better at this - a little better at doing more than one thing at a time - he couldn't figured it out without opening his eyes, but now he had to do that.
Seeing a stone he definitely wasn't controlling floating next to his, Luke blinked. The whole array trembled for a moment before he got control of it, gently knocked right back, and turned a small smile onto the only other person who was close.
"I see I'm not the only one playing with rocks around here."

Shrugging, he stretched briefly, loosening up muscles that had tensed while he'd been concentrating.
"Pretty sure it'd get called 'magic' by a lot of people, though," Luke said with a smile, then cocked his head, "so how did you do it?"

After about an hour, she takes an umbrella and heads over to where he's standing, blocking the water from dropping on him and handing him a towel.
"If you get sick, I will call Raine over and have her heal you in a very painful way. It's too cold to stand out here like this. Come inside, dry off and I will make you something hot to drink."
no subject
Of course, he sure hoped he won't get sick; he remembered all too well the few times he'd been sick growing up, and the creeping inevitability of pneumonia he'd felt through the dead haze during the night on Hoth...
"... Do we have hot chocolate?" Perking up at the thought, Luke smiled. He'd found it a short while ago here, and if there was one thing he hoped existed in their own galaxy as well, it was that.
no subject
"Of course we do. It's almost a requirement in the house, after Anakin and I discovered it. Worth it's weight in credits."
no subject
Tilting his head into the little touch, Luke grinned.
"Then you couldn't stop me from following you if you tried. That's something else I hope I remember so I can find it again."
no subject
"Ah, I'm so glad that I have a reasonable son. Perhaps if you could teach your nephew something resembling reason, we'd be able to have a civil conversation. Besides, many things can be forgiven over a cup of hot chocolate."

The first catches her off-guard...once she recovers. She's disturbed, and determined to not let it happen again - and so, of course, she does. She doesn't even realize it's happened, only that this place doesn't feel nearly as strange or alien, the thoughtless space fills her mind with serenity...
...and then she turns around and punches the nearest wall. Considering her lack of armor, it hurts, but that pain was what she was after; she gives the few Kedan who've stopped to stare a scowl, eyes daring them to say something before they come to rest on...
...another human. Who also appears to be recovering, and yet somehow familiar. Her frown deepens as she tries to search her mind for why.

He was nervous but still nodded in thanks before he left, leaving with most of the other kedan around but as Luke ran a hand through his hair and wondered, not for the first time what was going on and what that was, he could tell someone was staring.
Turning around, he tilted his head at the tall woman. She looked angry, though what for, was a good question...
"Got caught in it as well?"
C.
"How are you doing that?"
no subject
"The Force. It's like... an energy field made my everything living." She feels... interesting, now that he's paying attention beyond being vaguely aware someone's come up and stopped to look. As if she's bigger than she appears to be, in more ways than one, but he's not about to ask about that immediately.
"It lets me do things like this, or feel the presence of other people, for example." And a lot more things, but easier to keep it small for now.

It takes him a moment to figure out what she means - or well, what he thinks she might mean anyway, and he nods slowly.
"If I can do something like that with the Force, I don't know... but I've... talked, to my sister and my," a pause, and he swallows, but it's easier now that he has Anakin as what had been to compare to, "father, in my mind. Can you at least stop hearing us, if you want to?"
He hopes so, because it must be exhausting if she can't... what, turn it off? Control it? He wonders, just a little, what she means
sorry for the slow!!
no worries!
