A.) - Out in the City It wasn't often Klaus experienced Bad Cups of Tea. Generally he was fussy enough to only take tea prepared by himself or Gilbert, but this day he had been experimenting with the many new and robust flavours Keeliai offered. That is to say, he'd decided to try something new.
Being turned into a lion certainly constituted as new.
It wasn't the strangest thing that had ever happened to him, but his pride certainly took a hit. He'd shredded his clothes when he realized he couldn't pull his tie free with his paws. To think that a man that had gone toe-to-toe with elders of the Blood Breed was nearly choked to death by a silk tie!
Regardless, there was now a lion with a bundle of shredded fabric carried in his mouth, padding towards the nearest console to find out just what happened.
B.) - Hotel: It was rather difficult enough tackling the task of running a hotel that had half-disappeared overnight. It was substantially more difficult to do so when you lacked opposable thumbs. Granted, having a massive lion pacing through the halls kept any squabbling to a minimum, and he had worked out a solution to keeping the records by clawing them into planks of wood, but...
Really he'd wanted to help with the arrival of new furniture. Beds, mostly. A hotel couldn't operate without them. He was looking into affordable luxuries as well, but for now, the fundamentals were key.
He sat out in the lobby, waiting for the sizable delivery.
C.) - Some Poor Soul's Garden:
Klaus was not an irresponsible man, or one prone to blaming his faults and shortcomings on anyone or anything but himself. But even he would admit that he was not ready for the battle of willpower that was resisting ... whatever was growing in that garden patch.
It was a battle he, inevitably, lost.
He flopped down on his back in the patch of greens, twisting and writhing, kicking his hind paws as his tail thrashed to and from. He kicked up clumps of dirt and sent leaves flying into the air. He'd not felt like this since his early years at university when he'd returned to a particularly smokey dorm.

Night of the 31st - The Hotel:
It was night by the time Klaus returned to his normal self, and really he was grateful because most everyone was in their rooms at this hour. What he was not grateful for was that he was now behind the desk and wearing absolutely nothing.
He grabbed a cushion from his chair and emptied a bowl of fruit to provide some modesty, and then checked to see if the coast was clear. He prayed to whatever merciful god there might be that he didn't meet anyone along the way.

Of course.
[And then he added hastily-]
Not for other people, of course. I've pre-prepared meals at the hotel. The staff were... most gracious, once the situation was explained.
[Someone got chased around the dining hall with a broom.]

But he's making his way up the lion's head as he fixes the mane.]
No eating anybody would be for the best. Did the staff yell at you at first? If you are still hungry we have meat at home.

[He exhaled in a big puff of air. Being chased around with a broom while scrabbling around trying to figure out how to move on all fours hadn't exactly been the most dignified moment of his life.]
I'm quite alright for food, but I don't mind taking you anywhere you need to go. That form must be inconvenient.

[Poe is just joking, really. He's also moving on top of the lion's head and massaging the mane with his little paws, trying to help Klaus relax.]
No, don't worry it's fine. It took me a while to reach the house and unless Rey comes with me I think it will be better if I stay. I don't want to worry her again disappearing. I don't want Rey to think I abandoned her.

I don't mind upping their salary - there are potential risks with the job, considering all the people from different worlds.
[There was a thud as he flopped down into the grass, and sprawled out.]
If you say. But please, let me know if Miss Rey is not around and you need to get somewhere.

Yes that's true. Specially if they have to deal with Force user or people with a bad tempter. How is the Hotel going?
Will do, thanks Klaus.
