Insert Clever Subject Here : Open Post
Characters: Marinette/Ladybug and OPEN
Date: 6/17 Day and Evening
Location: Various
Situation: There is a great deal on Marinette's mind, and part of it starts with an "A" and ends with a "drien". So time to clear her head a little before she embarrasses herself more.
Warnings/Rating: Um. Excessive derp?
1. Morning: Social Shopping (With Marinette)
The past few days Marinette's been pretty damn over the moon. Sure there was some confusion about her being here and people having met her and all, but the biggest revelation was that Adrien was there. ADRIEN. For some time, in fact, but he was still here! With her -- kinda. And them sharing a place... oh -god- she couldn't even let that thought settle in her head. So, she was out exploring the city - currently walking down a street with several bags looped on one arm, glancing around a little absent-mindedly. She's going to end up dropping something aaany minute now.
2. Afternoon: Relax at the Cafe (With Marinette)
Of course she's not going to spend ALL day shopping. In fact, Marinette decided to take a lunch break at a nearby outdoor cafe, with a notebook open on the table and her focus more on her sketches and writing than anything else. She does, however, glance up now and then when someone passes by, watching with a mix of intense focus and curiosity.
3. Evening : The Terror that Flaps in the Ni-- okay not really (with Ladybug)
Once her morning business was taken care of - or rather, as much as it could be at least, Marinette spent most of the day organizing her new goodies, inwardly relieved that her previous self (wow that's weird to think) had already taken care of the things she needed for her sewing. By mid afternoon, she was getting restless again, so after double checking with Tikki to make absolutely sure the kwami was feeling well enough, she changed from plain, ordinary Marinette into the comfident, reliable Ladybug and slipped out - nothing like swinging through the city to clear a person's head, and if there was trouble, she'd at least be out there to help anyone who needed it.

no bricking, unbrick, you are perf
She nodded to confirm that items appeared at random and was going to elaborate, but that seemed to be abandoned in favor of the more important detail of her significant other. "He's a little... intense for most people. Kinda prickly, but that's part of his charm, really. Like how those miniature cacti are cute. Bakura runs the Jade Dojo," Pepper added. "He's been teaching me how to fight with a staff, and teaching me Shadow magic, which is super cool, since there's no magic where I come from."
Oooookaaaaaaaaaay. (debricks herself) <3
"I think this is the first time I've heard of a miniature cacts being called cute." She considered, "But I think I can see where you're coming from." She tilts her head thoughtfully, "You can just learn magic, just like that?" Shadow magic kinda sounds like bad mojo -- better clarify. "What's shadow magic?" PEPPER ARE YOU SUMMONING THE DEVIL.
yes good
:3
I'll see myself out.
no u are never allowed to leave u are too precious
"It's safe enough," Pepper allowed, laughing. "Everything comes with risk. I mean, I fly around in a suit of power armor fighting supervillains, I'm not exactly afraid of danger. Probably the most dangerous part is that there's a test you have to take where you're basically judged by the Shadow Realm about how well you know yourself, and if you fail... well, you can die. But it's fine! I passed. After that, it's really only limited by your own energy."
N.. NEVER? But... but...I have to feed my cat D:
"WHAT?"
Volume, Marinette, honey. VOLUME.
an exception can be made for our benevolent feline overlords
"Yeah, okay, that part isn't so safe," she allowed, stifling more giggles. After a few seconds, she managed to get her breathing under control and calmed down to something more serious. "It wasn't fun. It was... probably the hardest thing I've ever done, but it was also one of the most important. There's something really incredible about knowing who you are, and actually really powerful. And I wasn't alone, and I didn't go into it, like, totally blind. Really, it's fine, I promise."
Wise decision :D
