August Catch-All: Sheena's Back! (Closed and Open)
Characters: Sheena and YOU! (Raine, Zelos, and Kratos specifically for Prompt One)
Date: 8/8
Location: Errywhere!
Situation: She's baaaack! And going all over the place this month.
Warnings/Rating: None so far.
Reappearance: Closed (Aug 7/8)
As a ninja, Sheena's been known to disappear and reappear suddenly, but that's usually accompanied with a puff of smoke and under her control.
Nothing like her reappearance today in Raine's kitchen. Totally asleep, Sheena is totally unaware that she's no longer in her bed, but is now on Raine's kitchen floor, curling reflexively against the sudden chill hitting her body. Given time, that temperature change would normally be enough to awaken the ninja, but Sheena's life isn't exactly normal.
Especially since whatever force had decided to return her to this place and time did it just as a certain Chosen was entering the kitchen, putting her right in his next step's path.
Around Keeliai: OTA (Aug 9th on--except the 21st)
Of course, Sheena's not going to let a little thing like being asleep/gone for a month keep her from getting back into the swing of things. Well, one month and a day. After all, she does need to readjust--again--to things. First and foremost--training. She has to get back into that schedule, so every morning she can be found running through the Earth Sector or in the fields outside of the city doing routine exercises or practicing with a makeshift dummy. Or even sparring with one of her Spirits. Or even someone who offered to spar with her one day.
Later, she can be found all over the city. After dropping Tomoya off to play with the Kedan children, her next stop is the Market and shops. There is a small matter of a Ball happening, so she's doing a little window shopping for a few days before entering one of the clothing shops. And who knows? She just may be able to convince Raine to go to the dance and will be dragging her along as well. When she's not there, Sheena can be found at her usual haunts in the Market, haggling with the stall owners over the prices of their wares. And if anyone comes close enough, they'll notice that the ninja is enjoying herself immensely-even if she doesn't always come out on top.
Most of the time, though, she can be found at the Jasmine Dragon. She may have been gone for a month, but thanks to instructions she had left "just in case" that happened, the Tea House is--and has been--functioning as if she had been there the entire time. Still, that doesn't mean there hadn't been--and aren't--things that need taken care of. So, Sheena can be found in her office, mumbling about the Kedan confidence that she'd return as she goes over back paperwork, Or, just to take a break, she'll either be working a few tables, or behind the counter, or in the kitchen cooking. Or, if someone is lucky, actually catch her sitting down taking a real break. But they have to be quick--that's a rare occasion with Sheena.
Although, because of the nature of her disappearance, she's going to be doing a little research on it. She's got a few questions and theories about it, so she'll be found at the Healer's Guild in her spare time, asking those questions--and probably driving Raine crazy at the same time. She won't be there every day, but she will be there as often as she can be during the rest of the month.
For most people, the day ends when night falls, but not for Sheena. Nope. She'll be out and about on the rooftops, running and jumping from one to the other. Partly for exercise, partly as part of her research, but mostly because she wants to talk to someone. A talk she had planned to have before she disappeared. That doesn't mean she'll turn away any other rooftop dweller. Not at all. Conversations and races from others are very welcome!

"There were literally feathers everywhere, I couldn't avoid them," ah yes, petulant teenage whining, always a winner. Still, at her comment, he smiles. "I...thanks. That...means a lot."
He looks down at the aforementioned outfit.
"I...uh didn't choose it. It's magical. It just...happens like this?"

She chuckles. "I know. The birds seemed to be following you that day." She gives him another quick hug. "You're welcome, Little Brother."
She follows his gaze, once more taking in the clothing.
"It's magical? You mean, it just appears when you want it to?" She's surprised, but probably not as surprised as one may expect--considering her own world and experiences.

He laughs, tapping the ring on his finger.
"My kwami, the being who gives me my powers, goes into this ring. When he does that, the suit just appears on me. It doesn't come off until he leaves."

"So, basically, you merge with a type of Summon Spirit? Is that it?"

"I...guess so? Kwamis are kind of like spirits, I guess. They merge with their particular Miraculous, and whoever is wearing it gains the powers than go with them."

"'Miraculous'? Is that your title? Like 'Summoner'? And you get their powers, do you sometimes get their thoughts, too?"

"I don't know, I think they just take it on a wing and a prayer."
He shakes his head.
"Nah, Miraculous is the name of the jewellery, like my ring. And not really? I mean, I wouldn't really want to hear Plagg's thoughts. They probably wouldn't be all that nice."

"As long as they don't have their heads in the clouds, you mean?" she asks, breaking into a wide grin.
She nods as he explains. "That's probably a good thing--because if he tried to talk to you--" Double-take.
"Why wouldn't he have nice thoughts?"

He's definitely smiling though, up until that last part because yeeaah.
"Plagg is kind of a jerk. I mean, he's my friend and I love him. But he's also a jerk."

Sheena will just give you an innocent look, Chat. With a hint of "pleased as punch" in her eyes.
Until he describes Plagg, and then everything become wry.
"I know someone like that, though 'love' is a bit strong to describe how I feel," she says dryly. "So what makes yours a jerk?"

And with that, the Chat costume blinks out, and it's Adrien sitting there (he belatedly realises he is going to struggle to get off the roof, but OH WELL, he's done it now) . Along with that change- a little black cat-pixie thing appears beside him.
"HEY! What're you sayin' about me?" he says. "I'm a gem! You're lucky to have me!!"
"Plagg, Sheena- Sheena, Plagg," Adrien sighs.

Hasn't he ever wondered just how Sheena gets on and off the roofs?
Spotting the cat-pixie, Sheena smiles. "Nice to meet you, Plagg," she says, ignoring his outburst. "Adrien hasn't said much about you; he felt I should meet you in person."

"Of course he hasn't, he's SUPPOSED to be keeping me a secret," Plagg threw a GLARE in Adrien's direction. "But apparently, we're not doing that any more!!"
"People guess, Plagg, it's not my fault!"

Still smiling in the face of Plagg's outrage, Sheena shakes her head.
"He hasn't broken that promise. Adrien never told me he's Chat; I figured it out." She's not going to say how; she doesn't want her friend to be yelled at even more by the little cat sprite.
"Your name only came up when I asked him about his powers. I thought he was a Summoner, too."

That last one was aimed at Adrien, who sighs, fishing a piece of cheese out of his pocket, which the Kwami happily devours.

An eyebrows raises even higher at the request for food. Obviously there's more to Plagg than meets the eye. She waits until he's finished and puts a comforting hand on Adrien's arm. She has a feeling her next comment just may open a can of worms.
"Tell me about yourself, Plagg."
