I want to swim away but don't know how
Characters: Finnick Odair, everyone who was interested from this post, and OPEN.
Date: Backdated to around the day of the post and over the weekend, since there was a lot of interest
Location: On a boat. On the ocean. On the shell's edge? Idek.
Situation: Fishiiiiiiiiiing.
Warnings/Rating: Innuendo, for sure. Will edit if needed.
[Since arriving on Tu Vishan, Finnick's felt like he's going to explode. Like one day, he'll just not get out of bed again. Thankfully, the pull of the ocean is stronger than his need to simply stop existing for awhile. Fishing is as natural to him as breathing, and while he had really wanted to have quiet time to himself, he likes that so many people are interested in either joining him or having him teach them how it's done.
He likes that a lot more than being alone. He can't be alone anymore.]
[ooc: so feel free to assume whatever day you want to go out with Finnick. With so much interest in the post, I figured this would be the easiest way of doing it rather than having everyone come out all on one trip/one day, yada yada. c:]

The fish scatter when Santo steps in, but the water calms again after a moment, and they begin to drift back towards the two men.] You need to have patience. You could be standing here for hours and get nothing. Also try to not stab yourself. I did that when I was a kid.
[Patience is hard for people to have. Not everyone can be a hunter. He's quiet for another moment before lifting the spear in his hand, gripping near the end of the shaft before driving it right down into the fish that had been circling his leg.]

Stab myself? Really? [He gives Finnick a look, taking a moment to poke himself with the spearhead just for show.] I'm pretty sure that pointy sticks aren't going to hurt me. [Yeah, he's not going to help the crazy anytime soon.]
[Surprisingly, though, Santo isn't terrible at being still. He can't really stop talking, but being still is something a guy made of rocks can do.
Finnick beats him too it, though.]
Whoa, dude. I can't believe you actually did that.

At that, Finnick laughs. Right. Rock man, not likely to happen. Which is why he cocks his head, eyebrows arching.] And that's why I brought the extra spears, in case you stab yourself and break them. I plan ahead.
[Finnick grins, wiggling his spear around as the fish twitches pathetically.] Are you already doubting my skills, Santo?
