Oliver sees the cyrillic. That's what draws him over. The woman herself looks vaguely familiar, but not enough for him to place her. Another foreigner, seen at a distance, probably. When he sees what's written up-close, though, he raises his eyebrows.

In Russian, he says, "I don't think you're going to add much to that sitting here. I might be wrong, but it looks like just another cafe to me."

She spots him coming from a distance, pretends not to notice as he draws close - the page she's on is hardly sensitive information, and she honestly doesn't expect him to be able to read it in the first place. There is genuine surprise in her eyes when she looks up at the sound of the Russian, and she smiles, closing the notebook on her finger.
