Holla!
Characters: Superboy and everyone else!
Location: Wood sector
Situation: BBQ of awesome! (Also backdated to yesterday when his entry went up)
Warnings/Rating: Lots of food, maybe mild language?
Kon had decided to throw a BBQ for a number of reasons, one was just to have a party of some kind and have food. The other was more deeper than that, foreigners and Kedan alike had all be unsettled by the events a few weeks ago and Kon wanted to turn people around. He wanted the people who had been there to have something better to focus on and remember. And for the new people? He didn't want them to only know about the negative things that had happened.
So he had set up a barbeque made from metal sheets and wood, there was a metal bowl the held the coal and a metal grate where the meat would be cooked. Okay, and maybe veggies if people wanted grilled. The food was piled up in small boxes, there wasn't a lot because he wasn't exactly rich and he had been serious about people bringing food. There were drinks available, again not a lot and some he didn't even know what they were.
Nervous was a good word to describe how he felt because he didn't know who would actually come. He'd said wood sector but he'd also gone around and put signs up to tell people where to go exactly. Oh, there was also a sign in the open area.

Still, it's also an opportunity to get out and see the other 'foreigners' for herself, so after a while she decided to show up, if only for a little while. She also brought along some food, too, since it would be in poor taste to show up without bringing anything.
She does have manners, after all.Either way, Liz will be spending a good portion of her time standing away from everyone else, looking extremely exhausted and slightly frustrated.]

He has a plate of salad, not sure if he trusts the meat and something he would put off as 'not being kosher'. He's looking around and, although the girl doesn't really look like she wants any kind of company, Billy still approaches her. Offering a smile and a slight nod. She looks tired.]
Hey. You okay?
no subject
Liz isn't particularly chatty, but this kid is just trying to be nice, so there's no point in being rude.]
Yeah, I'm fine.

I'm Billy by the way. So, did you see the video as well or get dragged along?
[He needs practise on this whole conversation thing.]
no subject
Saw the video. Thought it would be worth a look.

Teddy brought me along, haven't been to a barbeque in so long.
no subject
Teddy? A friend of yours, I'm guessing?

[It sounded like something he'd take an interest in back home and read up on anything if he could. Billy nods a little.]
Yeah. My brother's here too.
no subject
It's good that you've got them here, though. It's usually easier to handle these sorts of things with other people around to help.
no subject
Yeah, I think I'd struggle if I didn't have them here. We all seem to be from the same time as well, so we don't have crazy time line shenanigans either.
no subject
Sorry, Billy, Liz isn't exactly the most talkative person out there, but she's not walking away, either. So.
It's a start.]

[He can be persistent when the mood strikes.]
