Situation: Evandau put out the call for help against the great and powerful Oz. Malicant. Ozicant. There are the next three teams to be assembled

The police force has a series of leads they need the Foreigners to follow-up on that may (or may not) relate to the entity known as Malicant. Teams 13, 14, and 15 are mobilised now. See the threads in this post for details and contact Alex (reignsdown or the mod account) if you have any questions.

Note: A variety of the options indicate that players can create kedan to fill plot needs in terms of questioning and what have you. These kedan are plot-specific and would not count in the rule-of-tens for NPCs (unless they were referred to after the event; but that is future and this is now).

Iiiii am leaning towards set A for this next one, but Iskierka would definitely want to stay and fight. So I guess I'll go with majority ruling, here. >>

Okay, wow. I think I'm leaning a little more towards C, as it feels a little more Slayers-style (at least without the option of magic or people with heavy weaponry), but I'm still thinking. I'd love to hear what other people's thoughts are.

Raimei would push for B or C-- she hates retreating unless absolutely necessary, but would be happy to fight or try to be sneaky.

I should note that she doesn't have powers to start with and could be considered 'full' strength in terms of her offensive capabilities. She's not an omg ridiculous shounen protagonist or anything, but she is a capable and fearless sword fighter and would jump right into it without a second's thought.

ETA: I'm also willing to have her get injured/captured to whatever extent would be feasible. Especially since she tends to lurch into the front lines.

I suppose I should have clarified, huh. XD. I meant that I PERSONALLY would pick A but Isky ...yeah, she's down for a fight. So she would likely go with C. And she is also not at full capabilities, so ...no fire. But dragons can still do a decent amount of damage anyway!

It's very in keeping with Raimei's character so I'm down for it!

C is totally fine with me. :) Ariadne is by no means a true fighter (she is still that young woman who just got introduced to the criminal world after all) and she more than likely isn't exactly the best shot when it comes to using her gun she has with her, but she will do what she cans to keep everyone safe.

And im totally down for her shooting someone/getting shot/whatever.

So assuming we're going with C, do we want to say they'll split up and a couple will go after the archers to provide cover for the ones that are following the suspicious kedan?

For example, I'm assuming Iskierka wouldn't be all that sneaky and would probably blow their cover by virtue of being... a huge red dragon. XD So maybe she and Raimei could go try to take out the archers?

(Raimei is totally fearless and would even ride on her if she wanted her to. like jumping down from her and dive bombing... JUST SAYING.)

What is this 'sneaky' you speak of, she is unfamiliar with the concept. ....So HELL YEAH TAKING OUT ARCHERS WOO. (But no fire. :C)

EXCELLENT. We could probably have our own thread separate from the other three, doing that. I figure in the interests of not backlogging forever, we should all thread several parts of the plot at once simultaneously and not worry about the timeline shenanigans too much?

Also, I feel like they'll get along great. XD Raimei is all about the action and will shamelessly tell her she's awesome.

C works for me too. I was just going to suggest working stuff out. Chel is way too efficient. ;P

Amelia's somewhat limited to hand-to-hand combat because she will not use a sword. *tries to figure out what it might be worthwhile for her to do*

Does everyone else just . . . watch the rest of the kedan?

Close combat brigade includes Korra and she'll be wanting to be right in their faces. Partially for the fight and to fulfill her personal Avatar protector quota for the trip.

Archers are a total problem for her thanks to no bending.

My understanding is that we'll have two groups, one to take out the archers and one to follow the suspicious kedan. Let's call this group A (for archers) and group B?

So... A is Raimei, Iskierka and Korra, and B is Amelia and Ariadne? Unless Korra wants to go with B so as not to put all the primary fighters in one basket, because I feel like that will come back to bite them-- but maybe we want it to? XD

Wrong account, but I'll put my two cents in that Amelia would probably be disappointed not to join the "beat up the archers" brigade . . . and that probably it would come back to bite them in the butt to send three people after three archers.

So. Potentially trying to steal Korra back.

Also sticking out my tongue and taking mild offense (except not fully seriously) to Amelia not being thought of as a primary fighter, because dude, you've never seen the girl box if you say that. ;P

oh my gosh. I thought I tracked this thread. SORRY ABOUT THAT.

BUT I'm totally cool with this plan. :) ariadne will be quick to react wherever. But is going to do her best to follow others lead. i can say that she will gladly fire that horrid gun of hers if need be though. so they can all sit and stare at her and wonder why she has that thing.

Sker has voted okay to staying behind with the stalkers, if this matters to plot outcome. I swear this is true and I did not use coercion. ^^;

*also fears Ariadne with a gun, but is glad she has one!*
