Characters: Wally West + You!
Date: Mornings of 07/11 - 07/13.
Location: Earth Sector, Metal Sector, and Wood Sector
Situation: Wally's trying to get back into the swing of some kind of a training routine since he's been letting things slip over the last few months. He's trying his hardest to deal with things on a normal (read non-speedster) level, but habits are hard to break and sometimes being a speedster sucks.
Warnings/Rating: None to be had aside from any possible injuries if Wally should blackout while exercising (nothing more extreme than scrapes, bruises, etc.); will update if necessary.
Starters are inside with general prompts; feel free to start them off/have your character bump into Wally however you wish (even join in on the exercise!). Open to starting new CR, playing catch-up on events, or just slice-of-life chit-chat.

JULY 11th - EARTH SECTOR
Running's almost like breathing for him - it takes some adjustment, but eventually starts to figure out a pace that works. The whole Earth Sector's going to be his track; the solid ground beneath his feet has him steady and confident. If he's ever going to be at the peak of his training, it'll be here. ]

She spots Wally running and tilts her head at him a little. She's totally checking him out. A moment or two passes before she whistles at him, grinning] Looking good!
no subject
Only to lose complete and utter control of his feet that sent him stumbling flat onto his face with a loud yelp. Going at a normal pace was apparently very dangerous. He wasn't exactly sure if it was the embarrassment that was keeping him kissing the ground or the actual pain burning across his forehead. ]
no subject
[That's...kind of a lie, but she didn't mean for him to hit the ground]
no subject
Not a problem. [ He laughs weakly and reaches to rub the back of his head. ]
Normally I'd have slid off and crashed right into something. This is kinda of an improvement. [ At least he's starting to take it with a bit of humor. ] Name's Wally.

Do you have some kind of medical condition that stops you from running without hurting yourself? [There's a pause] Oh goddess, you don't, do you? Because that would make me super insensitive right now. [She groans a little, burying her face in her hands] I'm Catty. And kind of a dork, apparently.
no subject
Not a medical condition, I guess, just a little... uh, hiccup in the gears, I guess. [ Wow, that does sound wrong, doesn't it? The speedster huffs softly and drops his arms to rest across his knees. ]
Nice to meet ya, Catty, and- yeah, it's more like, uhm- how to put this... You know how there are people with special powers here? [ He's testing the waters there, cause he's not, and probably can't be sure, if this girl has any powers of her own. ]
no subject
no subject
[ Yes, that is said with the most serious expression ever. ]
And yeah- regular speedster here, haha. Without the speed for the time being.
no subject
Oh, there's a name for it? So like, there's more of you?
no subject
So when she sees a familiar looking head of red hair running through the Earth Sector, her hopes are raised just that little bit. Sure he's not running at any of his "normal" speeds, but powers are on the fritz, so it doesn't concern her too much. She runs after the speedster, probably feeling a little happier than she should right now.] Wally, is that you?
no subject
Hey- [ Small huff, and then he straightens out and turns around, revealing- that he's very much not Flash. ]
Sorry about that, Miss. What's up? [ He offers the woman a grin, not recognizing her as a Hawkgirl - he's only over seen the one from his universe in her full costume. ]
no subject
[Why are you a kid?]
no subject
Yep. Do we know each other? [ He cocks his head to the side, starting to suspect if this is one of those alternate-universe things... and if he's just hurt another person like he hurt Kyle. ]
no subject
Name's Shayera Hol. We're teammates on the Justice League in my time. [She says as if he should know, forgetting he might not know what that is.]
no subject
He leans his weight back a bit, hands resting against the small of his back. ]
This the same Justice League with the artist for the Green Lantern? Or the pilot? ... The architect? [ He's hoping he got those right; he was sure on Hal being the pilot, because he was his uncle Barry's best friend. As for John, he kind of assumed from the guy's constructs. ]
no subject
no subject
Not the League where I'm from. Mr. Stewart's a Lantern with Hal Jordan. Theeen, there's Guy Gardner- and not many people like him, for some reason I dunno. [ From the few times Wally's met him, he's liked him. Then it hits him to mention- ]
I'm not The Flash where I'm from. [ Though, hey, it's something to look forward to, evident by the grin on his face. ] Kid Flash.
no subject
[Kid Flash, huh? That must be one of the universes with Barry Allen as Flash. She can't quite resist the light smirk on her face to go with a quip.] Suits you better when you're pint-sized like this.
no subject
That remark about being pint-sized, though- it gets a very, very teenaged pout out of the speedster aimed right at Shayera. ]
Hey, I'm perfectly sized for my age.
no subject
no subject
So I'm really like this other- "me?" [ This sort of thing's not hanging over his head at all, is it? ]
no subject
JULY 12th - METAL SECTOR
Today has him a little more winded than yesterday, but still he's pushing. He wouldn't be Kid Flash if he weren't persistant. Or if he wasn't willing to take risky moves that might tick off a whole bunch of people. ]
Blackout, maybe, if that's okay?
Have you ever considered yoga?
Perfect
The next thing he realizes, there's someone standing over him and he hears that familiar voice. It was suddenly very annoying, and he refused to open his eyes. ]
Not enough movement.
WHEW.
[Fine. You were stupid, West, that wasn't even Damian's fault.]
no subject
I'm not overestimating anything, kid.
no subject
[The glare got a flat stare back.]
no subject
None of your business how many.
no subject
Only prove I am correct.
Come on, I am capable of showing you exercises that will not break you this way.

Do not do damage to yourself, is all that I am attempting to tell you. Your allies - friends - will not be pleased if you do.
[Annnd he turned to go.]
JULY 13th - WOOD SECTOR
JULY 13th - WOOD SECTOR
She doesn't typically bother people when their in the middle of things but she figures it couldn't hurt to see if he might like a partner. It'd be a waste to allow her training to fall by the wayside and it could provide an interesting distraction if nothing else.]
Could you use a partner?
no subject
Wouldn't mind one. [ He let go of the branch and dropped down into a crouch before straightening out. ] Name's Wally. Wally West.
no subject
no subject
Haven't seen you around before. Arrive on the turtle recently? [ There was always the possibility that Wally was just unobservant. ]
no subject
Yes. I got her not too long ago, a couple weeks ago I think. I haven't been keeping very good track of time.
no subject
He's moved on to lunges, stretching out his legs. ]
Time gets weird like that here.
