Characters: Wally West + You!
Date: Mornings of 07/11 - 07/13.
Location: Earth Sector, Metal Sector, and Wood Sector
Situation: Wally's trying to get back into the swing of some kind of a training routine since he's been letting things slip over the last few months. He's trying his hardest to deal with things on a normal (read non-speedster) level, but habits are hard to break and sometimes being a speedster sucks.
Warnings/Rating: None to be had aside from any possible injuries if Wally should blackout while exercising (nothing more extreme than scrapes, bruises, etc.); will update if necessary.

Starters are inside with general prompts; feel free to start them off/have your character bump into Wally however you wish (even join in on the exercise!). Open to starting new CR, playing catch-up on events, or just slice-of-life chit-chat.

[The smile drops from her face as she gets a good look at who she's talking to. He responded to Wally, and he looks like him, just a lot younger. Like ten years younger, and there's no hiding the confusion on her face from it.] Wally West?

[Why are you a kid?]

[ Wally nods, wondering where this is going, exactly, because he's pretty sure he's never seen this woman before, despite the familiar feeling. It's kind of like saying you've seen someone who looks a lot like a movie star. ]

Yep. Do we know each other? [ He cocks his head to the side, starting to suspect if this is one of those alternate-universe things... and if he's just hurt another person like he hurt Kyle. ]

We will in about ten years. [Unless this is another different universe, in which case, she won't bother. Even so, finding one of your good friends as a teenager... this is going to take some getting used to, despite the possible hilarious perks it'll come with.]

Name's Shayera Hol. We're teammates on the Justice League in my time. [She says as if he should know, forgetting he might not know what that is.]

[ Oh- okay. Wally blinks a little a that. there is one way to check on this whole situation, at least from Wally's end isn't there?

He leans his weight back a bit, hands resting against the small of his back. ]

This the same Justice League with the artist for the Green Lantern? Or the pilot? ... The architect? [ He's hoping he got those right; he was sure on Hal being the pilot, because he was his uncle Barry's best friend. As for John, he kind of assumed from the guy's constructs. ]

[That changes her expression from neutral to confusion. He knew about the Justice League? He could've heard about it here, that's an option.] Just the architect, John Stewart. The other Green Lanterns aren't members. [Last she checked, at least. But if he thinks they're all members of the League, that doesn't add up.]

[ Well, that answers that for him. Wally frowns just a bit, cause this has happened again. Someone's expecting him to be the Wally from some other world, and he, through no fault of his own, disappoints. It's no one's fault, but still- he gets that it can suck. ]

Not the League where I'm from. Mr. Stewart's a Lantern with Hal Jordan. Theeen, there's Guy Gardner- and not many people like him, for some reason I dunno. [ From the few times Wally's met him, he's liked him. Then it hits him to mention- ]

I'm not The Flash where I'm from. [ Though, hey, it's something to look forward to, evident by the grin on his face. ] Kid Flash.

[She would've liked to have her own Wally with her, but so far, she's getting the feeling the two aren't that different aside from a decade.] From the stories John told me, he's one heck of an arrogant jerk at times.

[Kid Flash, huh? That must be one of the universes with Barry Allen as Flash. She can't quite resist the light smirk on her face to go with a quip.] Suits you better when you're pint-sized like this.

Eh, really? [ The speedster shrugged. Could have fooled him, but semi-like minds and all...

That remark about being pint-sized, though- it gets a very, very teenaged pout out of the speedster aimed right at Shayera. ]

Hey, I'm perfectly sized for my age.

[wingedwarrior]

Wow, you even pout like him. [Except a lot younger and with freckles, but it's funny anyway. She can't help but smirk.] True, but you're pint-sized to me. [She's got a good few inches on you, Wally.]

[ Well, that actually gets him to pause for a second, the look dropping off his face. He stares up at Shayera for that moment in silence. ]

So I'm really like this other- "me?" [ This sort of thing's not hanging over his head at all, is it? ]

I can't tell quite yet. [She only met him five minutes ago, and so far he only runs, pouts, and looks like her Wally. All she can do is shrug.] I don't know you well enough. But if you happen to have an endless appetite, a tendency to make bad jokes, and a heart of gold, then you might be a little like him. But I'm not expecting you to be some kind of replacement. [That wouldn't be fair to anybody, least of all Wally.]
