Event | Sinbrilee | Bacchanal
Characters: Any and all!
Date: August 24 - 30th
Location: Sinbrilee
Situation: An ancient festival of an ancient city, all are welcome at the Bacchanal!
Warnings/Rating: Please label threads as appropriate.
Death and destruction cannot curtail the single most important festival celebrated by the denizens of Sinbrilee: The Bacchanal! The ghosts in and about the city have begun to gossip about high fashion and festivities, sending any that inquire to the Amphitheatre -- a grand, circular structure nestled in the west side of the city.
This structure bore the fall of Sinbrilee and the wear of time with dignity, having lost handfuls of archways and one long stretch of wall to crumbling decay. Despite this, it is obvious that the amphitheatre once hosted many a display and every more festivities than the mind can grasp. This was their solace and safety; here is where the people of Sinbrilee came to find the mind's escape from all that threatened them and their great turtle.
Ghosts have been busy throughout the week, clearing paths through debris and hanging great cloth banners of soft blues and greens to disguise the more blatant signs of its decline. Many hundreds of them shimmer and slid through the area, providing for tables upon tables of food, offering drink, and overseeing competition of sport and skill (some even denying death's non-corporeal curse to enter).
Here, well... Here is where the party begins!

But... [She gives him a deliberate look up and down.] If you are that worried about hurting their poor feelings, maybe you should make it a private show.

[Speaking of lacking shame. Tony doesn't look the least bit self-conscious or concerned about the implications here. There's no one around to tell him it's a bad idea to encourage these things.]
I look at it as a donation. I'm offering my time and services while I'm here.
no subject
[She steps a little closer then, leaning up as if to speak into his ear.] But I'm not one for being a charity case.
no subject
I'm a strong believer in serving my community. But I wouldn't dream of calling anything like that charity. You obviously don't need that. I look at it as a gesture of appreciation. I'm just offering my honest opinion.

You know just how to talk to a girl, don't you? Maybe that private showing doesn't sound so bad after all. If you're schedule isn't too full.
no subject
[Tony smirks, moving closer to meet Tea's earlier gesture. This probably makes that list of poor life choices he keeps adding to, but he's already come this far. Why stop now?]
Don't tell me you're actually thinking of passing up a free show? You'll regret it forever.
no subject
I don't normally get handed things for free. [She reaches out to walk her fingers up his chest.] Usually I have to take it. But I guess getting things for free isn't so bad, if someone is being so generous.
no subject
Well, I could always resist if you want a struggle. But you might not get what you were after.
[He glances down as her fingers near the metal plate in his chest. His head lowers, tilted toward her hand, and then Tony raises his eyes to meet hers. He doesn't make any move toward her, but the look on his face says that it's crossed his mind. That, and more.]
I always make sure it's quality, trust me. It's a point of pride with me to deliver the best.
no subject
[She runs her finger along that plate, definitely curious about it.] If you're good to go, maybe we can see if your battery has enough energy left to get us through the night.
no subject
Glad I make the cut.
[There's a little arrogance in his voice. A warm invitation that just touches on a low rumble in his throat. He finally breaks the reserve he's held onto and lifts his hand to run the tips of his fingers up the inner stretch of Tea's arm, closing some distance between them as he does.]
Oh, I've got enough to keep going as long as you want me. This isn't my first dance. Although we probably want to leave the floor... for the rest of the guests.
[He missed this. Tony smirks, clearly enjoying the teasing they have going.]
I'm sure they must have some private rooms in this place. Why don't we take a walk?
no subject
[Not that she's particularly worried about whether there is a door or not. But before they head off, Tea lifts her hand to wrap around the back of his neck and pull him into a kiss. Not a quick one either, but a heady and playful as she gives him a taste of what's coming. How will he react?]
no subject
[Tony doesn't shy away from teasing back. When Tea pulls him forward, Tony's arms go to her waist and he matches her movements, sliding his fingertips forward and brushing her back as he deepens the kiss. It's nothing approaching hesitant, and if a few people happen to pause and balk a little at them, it doesn't interrupt his focus. He can indulge in putting on a show since Tea seems to be enjoying it. When they do break off the kiss, he smirks.]
I think everyone else would appreciate having something between us and them.
