A: Around School

[Tarrlok was hard at work on something. Papers are piled up on his desk (in an organized manner, of course). They're not even all school related. He's mostly just making busy work for himself when he's done everything else because he's so used to spending most of his time working that he doesn't really know what to do with himself when he's finished.

Finally letting himself have a bit of a breather, he steps out into the hallway.]

B: Shopping in the Fire District

[After the most recent trip out of Keeliai, Tarrlok found himself in possession of some extra money. Not as much as he was used to, but still more than he'd previously had. So, he figured he'd go out and buy something. Things he needed, but perhaps a little treat for himself, too. He could use some new clothes.]

I'm teaching some of my students about binding techniques- and for those who can't use magic, how to spot something only pretending to be human.

['Binding techniques' makes him somewhat uneasy but he won't push the issue further. That bridge had been crossed.]

The last part - would it work on something like...[Right, he's not supposed to say Malicant.]...you know?

Hopefully- it's the primary reason I'm teaching it. [Although if they put it to other uses, Sabriel's not going to complain- unless it's unethical.]

It would probably take many mages working as one, butI think we should attempt it.
