Situation: Lois has Kryptonian powers, she's not sure whose. (Spoiler: Jor-El's.) But her husband's a teenager. She has some issues.

"If Superman's that bent out of shape over a teenage girl, I think you have bigger problems." She can't help the sarcasm dripping off of every word. Hayley likes and respects Lois well enough normally, but anyone cornering her for answers she's not ready to give is immediately an enemy. That Lois resembles her mother makes it that much easier to be dismissive and rude. "But I'm super flattered he's been talking about me to you."

Clearly she's not thrilled about that at all. Clark talking to Lois is one thing. It's expected. But Superman passing his concerns about Hayley on to the pair of them is something she's slowly coming to hate more and more.

After a beat, Hayley huffs with intentional petulance. Then her tone is slightly more sincere while clearly frustrated. "I have no idea what you're talking about, Lois. You're really going to have to give me a clue."
