Does whatever a spider can...

Characters: Spider-Man (1610, Parker edition), and YOU!!!
Date: 11/30
Location: all around the city
Situation: Peter's feeling better and is doing a few laps around the city via rooftops in his underwear torn up costume
Warnings/Rating: TBA

It felt good to be out of the suite. It felt good to be running around, jumping from rooftop to rooftop like he used to back in New York. Peter had spent enough time sitting around in recovery mode, and more than enough time being restless and wanting to wander the streets. It was a new feeling that he'd never quite had before; When you're busy every night fighting off muggers and burglars and masked mad men, you crave the days when you can just sit at home, do homework, read The Hobbit... And now Peter found himself suffering somewhat the opposite. With no homework and no Hobbit, what could he fill his R&R time with? Nothing but a restless mind with a million questions and zero answers.

So running around in his red and blue pajamas and mask seemed to help, as torn up and dirty as they still were. At least it made him feel productive. His webs were being saved, however; first he needed to scout out what was around the city that could be used to make more. Which was probably for the best... As healed up as he was, he didn't really want that wound in his side splitting wide open and gushing his insides out onto the streets below while he did his swinging around. Jumping across the rooftops at least gave him an easy stop option if he needed it.

A red and blue costumed person leaping rooftops was something that drew Victor's attention while he was scaling a building. Being curious, he started to follow after the costumed figure. When he caught sight of the red and blue along with the web-pattern, he smiled. He recognized that costume!

"Hey! Spider-Man!" he called out when he was close enough to not really need to yell. "Wait up?"

Miles goes on patrol pretty regularly. He sometimes runs into the turtle's other costumed residents, like that annoying Robin kid, or that Blue Beetle guy. But tonight he saw a more familiar sight as he was perched atop a building in Metal: that of his fellow Spider-Man. Miles decides to follow him, try to catch up. And since he has no compunctions about using his webs, he does so pretty easily. Which is when he notices the state of Peter's suit.

"Whoa, your uniform looks worse than mine did when I got here. You sure you don't want to at least try to sew it up?"

Ava's patrols at this point are as much about recon as they are about actual crimefighting, so it's not hard for to spot a guy running across rooftops. And it's doubly easy for her to recognize one of her teammates. With a few differences. The one she most notices, though, is the jumping. Not swinging. Was Webhead already out of web?

She hops over to him, hoping to be able to talk. She misses Peter Parker. Even though he's right there. Even weirder, she misses more than one Pete. She has no idea what she's supposed to do about that, but she knows it isn't fair to blame Parker for it.

Even if some small part of her kind of does. "Spidey. How's it crawling?"

He's not the only Parker out in costume, or conserving webfluid, for that matter, but May's is in much better condition. When she sees him passing by on a lower rooftop, she quickly flips down from it, landing in front of him.

"That's seen better days. Did you show up like that or did you have a close encounter with a trash can?"

She's let her costume get that bad a few times, but seeing how bad Peter's looked, it's only just now hit her how bad her own must have appeared like that. Talk about setting a poor impression!
