Because it's funny.

Who: Mako (

When: December 5th
Where: Llllandfall.
What: Mako got a car. He didn't realize the car belonged to Korra.
Warnings: ~~None.~~ I lied, because teenagers. Which means NSFW, ~~on the safe side.~~ for sure

[Mako hadn't been expecting to see a Satomobile when he looked at the auction area-- but there it was, and still in mint condition, too. He didn't think too hard about the particulars of how it got there (by some long, convoluted process? Something had to happen, at least. It wasn't like Future Industries was in this area), and instead did the first thing he could thinks of when he had money to burn.

He bought it, for a bargain of about 200 juulan.

He'd prefer something a little lighter-- and looking at this car, it was your standard, if one of their higher end models, satomobile. There was nothing on it that would let it do the tricks that Asami had pulled off in her custom model.

And he wouldn't even know where to begin.

But he had it-- a piece of home. So, who cared about what he'd do with it so far? He could probably talk to someone at Stark Industries. They might know how to custom-- no. Noooo, that would actually be a bad idea, never mind.

But he was driving it back to Keeliai either way.]

[he grabbed the other things that were left, helped her to carry them up to her suite. Still quiet, still mulling things over. What was he doing? He just told her he wanted to end this.

Maybe it was true, but you didn't say that... did you? Honestly, it was a lot simpler with Asami than Korra.

But he'd never tell her that.

Instead, he waits for her to open her suite, almost awkward, and definitely silent.]

[Leading the way was best. It meant she could look at the door to her suite and nothing else, no one else. Korra was already easy enough to read for people who were good at doing it, but Mako knew more about her than anyone on the turtle and keeping anything from him always failed her.

When they got to the door, Korra actually dropped her key. Looking down at it for only a moment reminded her of how she had lost it when she was struck with amnesia. How he let her stay at his place, helped her look for it the next morning.

A lift of the tip of her boot carved a small circle of concrete around the key and lifted it up to her hand. Unlocking it, Korra stepped into the warmth of her suite and in just that small amount of time, she could feel herself thawing out.]

[he followed her in, and set her stuff down on the table. Looking around, he could see nothing much had changed since he'd last been there. It was still Korra's place, and he felt... almost out of place for a second. But then he realized that was silly, and focused back on Korra.]

Hey, Korra..

[when she turned towards him, he took a few steps towards her, to close the distance. He was going to use this as a chance to try and fix the awkward that had been that car ride. He was gonna clarify that, hey, they were still friends right? He was going to do a lot of things.

And then he didn't.

Instead, when he closed that distance, he leaned down and kissed her.]

[After setting the sled down, by simply letting it slide down onto the floor, Korra heard Mako call her. She paused before turning around.]

Yea- [She cut her own self off when she felt his breath on her lips the moment before he kissed her. Logic, reason, and what she she had seen at the palace dropped away from her mind.

Closing her eyes, Korra kissed back. Slowly, she tilted her head head and pressed her lips against his. Her breathing came in shorter and more sporadic patterns as she opened her mouth to find a different angle to kiss his lips. Even the slightest one would do.

Bring her arms up around his back, she hugged herself to him and only broke away for the briefest of instants so she could push her lips back onto his with a fervor that came with a shallow breath.

This definitely felt like it fixed the awkward.]

[What wasn't pushing him away was only encouraging. And Mako was more than happy to return what she gave to him. What started as a simple kiss grew when he wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer to him, or himself closer to her, whichever.

This felt right, feeling her arms around him and having his around her. He leaned forward just a bit, to make the angle easier for her and for him. He opens his mouth to her, and his arms tighten around her just a bit.

Don't go.

They could enjoy this moment-- however long it lasted.]

[Feeling his arms around her made all the ache the last three weeks had left her with vanish and she was very ready to keep it that way. No melancholy or depression, just them being together; as close as they can be.

Staying here like this was exactly what she knew needed to happen.

Her mouth opens at the same time his does, the corners of her lips were at the top and bottom of his and it wasn't enough. Eagerly, her tongue sought out after his, to keep this feeling; keep it constant.]

[This wasn't what he'd meant, but like he was going to stop. Sense and reason hadn't sunk in yet, and he just wanted to be with her while this moment lasted, even if they stretched it out as long as they could.

He wasn't thinking about the after.

For once in his life.

He met her tongue with his, pressing he lips against hers hard, at the angle they were at, it was easy to move her-- and they'd had enough practice at that when they were together. He pulled her closer, with a hand going to the nape of her neck, feeling the small hairs there]

[Whenever a rushing need hit Korra, she rarely fought it, and in this case, she encouraged it. Consequences were left at the door and right now, she was exactly where she needed to be.

Her cheeks flushed and the warmth prickled against the cold as it fought it off. Running her tongue along the side of his, she moaned when she felt his rub harder against hers.

There was still too much between them, keeping them apart and it became incredibly important to close that distance. Her hands found their way up to the back of his jacket's collar ad her fingers hooked onto it, fanning away from each other in an attempt to get the sleeves off his arms.

Which was difficult since neither wanted to let go of the other.]

[he didn't want to let go of her. In fact, it takes a moment before the recognition hits that she wants his jacket off. While he isn't as used to the lack of heat as she is, but he lets go, just long enough for his jacket to get shucked off.

But once that is off, he closes the gap between the two of them-- a little more forcefully than he needed to. Back against the wall.

He'd apologize, but he doesn't want to talk. He wants to feel her. And the forced barrier allows his hands to slide down her sides, and he moves his kisses along her jawline, to her neck.

Besides, Korra was more sturdy than that.

It would take more than hitting a wall for something to really bother her.]

[As soon her back was flat against the wall, Korra grabbed fistfuls of Mako's shirt and she pulled him closer to him; even though he didn't need the help.

Without any hesitation, she inclined her head when his his lips moved to expose her neck. Whatever uncomfortable unease and chaotic turbulence her feelings were going through, those were long gone and she closed her eyes to enjoy the wordless euphoria.

Her fingers unfurled and found the hem of his shirt. It was keeping her away from the warmth of his body and she needed to feel it.]

[When she made it easier for him, he went for it. His jacket was easier to take off than Korra's, so he just pushed it to the side for now. She was warm, especially compared to everything around them. He brushed her hair aside for the moment.

But then he felt her fingers at the edge of his shirt. If there was any hesitation, he only felt it faintly. It had been three weeks of confusion, and attempting to keep going on like nothing was wrong.

His hands slide up her sides, underneath her jacket, along the curves of her body and closer to her skin, even if her own shirt was still separating his hands from skin]

[At any given time, her core body temperature was higher than most people's, but the blood that was rushing through her kept her face flush. Though feeling his hands slide over her hips may have had something to do with that.

Hair pushed aside, Korra turned her face inward so she could kiss his neck and her lips brushed against the side of his throat. It took these three long weeks of being without him for her to discover that he had a scent and it was one that she liked.

Finding their way under his shirt, palms of her hands rubbed the muscles of his abdomen. To provide warmth just as much to sate her need to feel skin on skin. One hand found its way to the side of his waist and latched on, a firm touch pushed it towards her as she she kissed down his throat towards his collarbone. Her cheek becoming nestled in his red scarf.]

[feeling her hand against his abdomen, actual skin on skin, sent a shiver down his spine. He felt possessive for a second, over someone that he knew, in the back of his mind wasn't his. But that didn't stop him from letting her push and pull him. There was the faintest 'hmm' of pleasure in the back of his throat at her touch.

But he couldn't take it anymore. Her jacket had to go, at least.

They could use each other for warmth, and his hands lifted her jacket, gentle.]

[The sound she both felt and heard from him while she was kissing him made her smile; a hint of bare teeth against neck. Her lips left his skin with an exhale of heated breath and let her hand slide up to his chest before she brought them out from under his shirt, and her arms were up for him to take off her jacket. In any way he wanted.

Earlier, she had avoided seeing him as much as possible, and now she wanted nothing more than to look at him in every way possible. And it was only fair that she let him do the same.]

[It wasn't like he had an elegant plan for how this was supposed to go-- it was just feeling and impulse right now. But he decides to help her out by taking his scarf off as well. He's a little more gentle with that, placing it on the near-by table.

Sorry, Dad.

That gone, he placed his hand underneath her chin, pulling her face upwards, so he could kiss her again. This was what he wanted, this sort of contact for her.

She still felt something for him.

He knew he still felt something for her, even if they weren't together.

His free hand slid back down along her side, and then to her lower back, and then lower, to her butt where he rested it]

[Most of Korra’s choices are feeling and impulse based, so Mako's doing something she's already given in to and that's perfectly fine.

Without her jacket, Korra was able to move a little more freely. Her lips parted when he brought her up to him and she kissed him back, feverishly so once she felt his hand moving down her backside.

The proper undoing and right tug untied the blue cloth belt that held up the animal skin around her waist. Bring herself up off the wall brought her chest against his and both her hands mirrored his, only they went under his shirt to grab at his upper back.]

[he could feel his shirt riding up, just because of her hands on his skin. Another quick kiss, and then he drops his hand, moving it to the hem of her shirt.

They weren't in the best place for this, but Mako didn't want to move, or break the spell somehow.

No, he still refused to out and out speak, and he began to pull the hem of her shirt up, away from her pants to create a space for skin]

[Form fitting as her shirt was, Korra could feel it bunch up around her abdominal muscles and she pressed her fingers into his back before sliding them down.

All the silence that had weighed them down before was now welcome.

One of her hands went back to pull her shirt up to just under her chest, and the other went to pull his upwards as well.]

[He decided he'd be the first that would ditch the shirt. His had been bunching for longer than hers had, and he could take a hint. He pulled it off himself, letting go of her for only a second and then his hands are on the skin of her stomach.

Her skin is soft-- and warm to the touch, and with her shirt bunched at the top, it made it easy leverage to feel that.

This wasn't the warmest area, but he was definitely feeling hot and bothered seeing Korra like that. It was hard not to be.]

[Three weeks felt like an eternity, and it had been even longer than that since she and Mako had last done anything this intensive with each other. Seeing his upper body bare was something her eyes drank in.

Already her stomach had been squirming, but when both of his hands were physically touching here there, a tingling sensation spread out from it. Although it moved in just about every direction, most of it went either up or down. All of it from the inside; outwardly, her abs pressed in together.

Putting her hands on his, an offer to help him wherever he wanted to roam, Korra went up to get another kiss from him.]

[her hands were reassuring him, and he wasn't going to waste this opportunity. This may be the one chance he got. Impulses and feelings... His hand cupped her breast, and then slipped under the material, pushing it up further.

He pressed his forehead to hers, only able to see her obliquely for the moment.]

[Taking in a deep breath when she felt where his hand was going, hers gently on top of his, Korra brought her fingers slowly over his. It stretched out her shirt a bit, but she didn't mind it. If his hands were even slightly cold, they would find warmth there, especially directly underneath her breasts. Her index finger ran over his, then over her hardening nipple, and back onto his next finger.

Biting her lower lip when they were eye to eye, the corners of Korra's lips curled up, and she slowly licked along the line of his lips. That tingling sensation finally reached up to her throat and an 'mm' resonated in her throat.

Her other hand was still on his, fingers moving up and down the back of his hand.]

[he almost called out her name-- checking that she was there, and okay. But then he thought better of it. He just had to feel her instructions for now, and trust that he was getting them right.

His hand palms her breast, his thumb following the path that she had just set out with her own fingers. He rubbed the skin, feeling it and her.

His lips press along her jawline again, and his other hand pulls away from hers, just gently enough to intertwine their fingertips, as he presses her body with his own, flush against the wall]

[Rubbing was definitely a good feeling that she wanted more of and she placed her thumb on his, moving it around tip of her nipple. It was sensitive, especially now, and she kept repeating the motion gently until he was doing it and she would be there just to feel him.

Having flesh on flesh, their exposed upper bodies against each other, made her breathe more deeply. Interlocking her fingers with his, she rubbed up slowly against him while putting her head to the side again so he could easily get from her jawline to her neck.

Now her shirt was becoming a hinderance, and her hand left his briefly to pull it up more so it wasn't constricting her breasts. It was a temporary solution to help fully eliminate the desolate feelings they had of being near each other while having to keep a distance between them.

Something she needed to get rid of.]

[getting rid of it was a more permanent solution, and Mako was just frustrated enough to grab her shirt and gently lift it the rest of the way. If he could be topless, then so could she.

It would be easier for both of them, and give him the access he needed without dealing with the odd interruption of fabric as he moved along skin]
