FIVE BILLION LOGS!
Who: Mako (firethepolice) and Amon (amonfire)
What: ... Well, it was about time these two met each other.
When: End of January.
Where: Earth Sector
Warnings: TBD...
[Mako had to find his brother-- he figured he'd deliver the news about the job in person to him, as opposed to over the console. He still wasn't sure how Bo would feel about being volunteered up for something like this, given his new-found life as a movers star. Pro-bending might be firmly in the past for him, who knew?
But he knew the rules better than Mako did, which meant he'd be the best to get the measurements for a regulation-sized ring from. However, Mako didn't often go into the Earth Sector before Bolin lived there. There was just no reason, besides the time that he'd done errand running for a living. He wasn't lost, per se, but he didn't know the short-cuts he would take just yet.
So, as he walks down one of the alleys, it's a complete surprise who he sees just in the distance. There's a point where Mako does freeze, but then he forces himself to keep going.
As much as he'd rather just avoid Amon (or Noatak?), there was no reason to suspect that something would happen. All conflict with Korra aside, Mako was not the type of person to seek out fights for no reason.

Oh? Please, tell her I said thank you the next time you see your friend. Korra and Amon, I don't know if she'd remember the fire in the markets; it happened some time ago, but she and Amon saved my life.
[ The girl watched Amon lead the woman inside before turning back to Mako. Suddenly, she wasn't smiling. ]
We all know who and what he is; we're not as ignorant as a lot of the foreigners like to think.
