open log for anybody who needs somebody to talk to!

Characters: Bro Strider + YOU.
Date: Backdated to May 3rd.
Location: Brazen Turtle.
Situation: Bro will make you a drink at the bar because shit who doesn't want that. Who knows, he will undoubtedly join you too.
Warnings/Rating: Bro Strider is in this log.

[ Right, so. With things being intense over the past few days and people still recovering from all of the excitement, there is still a little business trickling into the bar, and it just so happens it is Bro's night to finally run the bar tending shift. He's been doing this for awhile, but since things have been squirrely lately, he's not been asked to work all the time. In fact, most people are assuming the bar has been closing early due to being short staffed at the moment.

BUT ANYWAY, Bro's here— working diligently. It's nice to kind of get his mind focused on something else other than the city being at a high risk state at the moment. People trickle in and order themselves more drinks than usual, and although the foreign menu of drinks is odd, Bro's got this down pat. He could make a sick, alien-alcoholic drink in seconds. The guy learned quick.

Tonight is slow for one reason or another. Bro's the only bartender on staff... and.. for some odd reason, there is what appears to be a giant, white seahorse curled up at the entrance of the bar. It has a saddle and reigns on it, as if it were to be somebody's pet.

It just so happens that giant seahorse— or skyhorse, rather, is Bro's current ride.
How the fuck did he get that.

Anyway, he has his back turned. If you're going to order a drink, you might need to get his attention.
Get his attention? Ask about the weird seahorse outside? Friend of his and just stopping by to check in? Vent to him about your sad life stories? He's horrible at being sympathetic and giving love advice.
Perfect. Just what you need.]

browbeater: Ooooooh it's too real. (The baby was not okay.)

What? No-- I'm not trying to do that. I just forgot which of her jobs she was working today. [a pause]

Also, stop. I don't have time for the weirdness today. It's kind of important.
browbeater: Ooooooh it's too real. (I swear it's this big.)

[Mako almost blushed when he finished that statement, and then quickly shook his head. He was getting sucked into the conversation, which was, admittedly, detracting from his goal of finding Korra. But he didn't know why the provocation needed so much correcting.

Probably because if Bro found Korra first, she'd get ideas and he really wanted to focus.]

Not that. Why are you so interested in our relationship?
browbeater: Ooooooh it's too real. (Openly judging the shit out of you.)

A what? [no, seriously, what]

[Mako sighed, and stared at the man in front of him, with his weird glasses, and his weird way of speaking. How had Korra even become friends with him? Because Mako would have ignored him and walked away, normally.

But now his confusion was winning over his need to know what, exactly, Bro was like.]

So all of this is just to be nosy about Korra? And me, I guess.
