throesofangels. Or you can tag in with your own starter! This month Leo will spend much of his time rooftop-hopping in the Fire Sector, lingering as near to Tu Vishan's head as he can get away with, and keeping a self-imposed vigil near damage control spots throughout the city. Brackets or prose both welcome!}

He's pretty sure he knows what Casey means by 'stuff', so he nods. "I'll meet you on the ground floor."
And then he turns and jumps right back out of the window he came in from.

Casey is downstairs in fairly short order with a bag of various serviceable blunt objects slung over one shoulder. Some of them are even vaguely sports-equipment-shaped, though he's had some trouble pinning down exact specifications with the locals. He's also sporting a very plain white mask, because as difficult as sports equipment is, explaining a goalie mask has been another thing entirely.
"So I'm gonna assume you stuck the landin'. Didn't hear any splats. I'll give it a ten if you did."
no subject
Ah. He can't help the flash of disappointment at the different mask, but he tries not to let it get to him. That he's wearing one at all is still good, and more than likely it means that Casey simply hadn't had his hockey mask with him when he'd come to Keeliai. Still, he's got to know.
"Nice mask you've got there."
Also, excuse you, ninjas don't splat.

Casey gracefully responds with what can only be described as a hearty pbbbt.
(After he's finished taking a surprised half-step back and all. Even when you know they're gonna turn up, the guys'll get the drop on you. Yeesh.)
"Yeah, I know. Really highlights my best features." Man, he misses his stuff. Not that he wasn't already down a favorite bat back home anyway, he guesses. Crime-fighting is such an involved career. "Kinduva culture barrier around here when it comes down to sports talk, man. If it turns out this thing can't take a good punch, I'll probably just start doin' without."

Leo puts his fists on his hips. "Most of the gangs I'm familiar with keep near Fire. Have you brushed up on the local flavor yet?"
He knows Casey hasn't been around for very long, and Metal's criminals aren't quite as prolific as Fire's, but it's worth asking.
no subject
"I did, yeah. Not a lot to say for gangs in this part of town. Bad attitude, no big picture. Pretty small-scale stuff compared to back home. But this is where you'll get a lotta muggings 'n stuff like that? Guess that's the tradeoff, I dunno. Haven't done much outta this sector."
no subject
"Whatever they're up to, there's going to be a lot less of it tonight." He rolls a shoulder, throwing a smirk towards his partner in crime. "Ready?"
no subject
"More than, green man. Let's go find some punks to gently correct."
