[After seeing her friend under the influence of alcohol, she's not going to force that challenge. Korra's Maturity: +1]

Nah, my hobby's in another sector. [Her cheek rises up as does one eyebrow.] The tavern might actually be mine. I'll have to check Jim's paperwork and see if that's the case.

[Not even a question in her mind as to whether or not Jim Kirk had a contingency plan for everything.]

I'm a bartender and barback for the other bartenders if they need the help.

[Tony's still considering taking her up on it. Tony's Maturity: -1]

So you... accidentally own a bar? [Tony asks, smiling and raising his own eyebrow.] What's your hobby? Accidentally running a casino? Accidentally drag racing?

[Korra gives an unsure, half shrug at possibly owning a bar. That's going to be something new.]

Purposely running a dojo isn't the most popular hobby, so don't judge me too harshly.

[She points at him, a toothless grin on her face.]

But those hobbies do sound interesting. I might try to fall into them.

[Except the drag racing will be a one time thing after she totals the car.]

Running a do-what? [You're going to have to enlighten the extremely sheltered white boy, Korra.]

I hope you don't start a casino, you'd have to kick me out for card-counting.

And that better be the only thing I kick you out for. [But her sly grin at that becomes amused.]

A dojo is a place for physical training. Mostly for martial arts. Not too long after I got here, the person running it trained me further in what I already knew. She also taught me new forms and I got to work on them more with someone else.

Now I run the dojo. Lessons are cheap if you're interested. [She says to the teen that inherited Keeliai's biggest company.]

[He doesn't even try to card count - he just can't help it.]

Oh, yeah? [He took some basic self-defense classes when he was younger, but he hasn't had any martial-arts-y training since donning the mantle of Iron Man. He'd never had the time. It was hard enough fighting supervillains and getting his history homework done - he didn't have a whole lot of time for extracurriculars.] Maybe I'll check it out. [Maybe he'll pick up some sweet ninja moves like Gene has.]

So do you teach the lessons? If I show up, are you going to be the one kicking my ass?

I have a few openings as a personal trainer in-between my class schedule. But you can always pick a different teacher if it's not for you.

[Her grin carries in her voice.]

If you care about who kicks your ass into shape. I trained all my current staff. Well, except the one that trains the youngest class.

Well... I guess it depends on if you can take what I can dish out. [Tony gives her a cocky grin. It's just friendly boasting - but not entirely without basis. He may not have training or technique, but he does have experience, and Extremis. When he hits, he hits hard. And he's no lightweight when it comes to taking hits, either.]

She is absolutely the most horrible when it comes to challenges, even if they're friendly.]

Bring it. I'll even make the first lesson and sparring match free.

[Korra has guns, and she's not afraid to show both of them.]

[TONY YES

Still grinning, Tony raises his eyebrows.] All right, it's on. [Oh, this should be fun. Punch him, it's how men say hello.

He turns his attention back to the Enterprise and makes some final adjustments.] Okay, I think that does it. Let's give it a try. [He retrieves the pile of small screws from Korra and starts putting the model back together.]

[Jazzed at the chance to finally take on another foreigner student, Korra leans back as Tony puts it together.]

It runs on verbal commands, but you probably could tell when you looked inside. Try it out.

[Tony eyes the reconstructed model. He's not sure what to tell it to do. Fly figure eights? Seek out new life and new civilizations? Jokingly, he says,] Warp factor five, Mister Sulu.

[Korra bit her lips to keep from smiling too much.

The ship lifts up into the air and stays still for a moment. Then to zooms in a straight line forward, enough to leave tracers behind it, and loops around to come right back where it was.]

I haven't figured out all the commands yet, I just know the basic ones and a couple of the ones Jim told me.

[Tony laughs, surprised and amused, when the ship actually reacts to the command.] That's pretty neat. What are the commands you know? What else does it do?

Well, there’s ‘nebulous’.

[The ship begins to slowly cruise in the air, taking a smooth turn occasionally. Random directions, but never breaking stride or going too far.]

Uh, ‘disco’.

[The ship stops and different colored lights dance along the ship, windows and blinking lights filling up the floor and ceiling.]

‘Intimidate’.

[Suddenly the lights stop and a red laser light points on Tony’s shirt. The voice of Jim Kirk projects from the tiny bridge. ‘You are ordered by Starfleet to surrender and stand down. Please oblige.’]

There’s the default, but that’s just it making circuits of the tavern. Oh, that reminds. Enterprise: Korra authorizing Tony Stark for command.

[The ship lets out a hailing frequency sound and the ship’s computer voice speaks. ‘Awaiting voice for recognition.’

Korra motions at Tony to speak.]

[Tony is absolutely tickled by the Enterprise's displays, particularly the 'disco' setting. When the computer recording asks for his voiceprint, Tony grins and holds up the Vulcan salute.] Live long and prosper.

[‘Voice recognition for Tony Stark confirmed.’

But Korra gives Tony a surprised look despite the Enterprise resuming its silent hovering and the occasional beeping.]

You know about Spock too?

[Tony shrugs and smiles.] Like I said, my dad's a big fan.

So, what, you got the ship but you didn't get the user manual? You just have to guess what the rest of the commands are? [He eyes the model, wondering what else an older version of him might have programmed a miniature Enterprise to do.] Boldly go? Red alert? Scan for lifeforms? ...Open the pod bay doors? [Okay, wrong sci-fi classic.]

[She's really going to lay into Jim about this 'show' if he ever comes back.]

Pretty much. I didn't even know there were others until the ship started doing things when Jim talked about the Enterprise and Starfleet.

[Suddenly, the miniature space ship emits Jim's voice at the first command. 'Space...' and then the sounds of the red alert warning fill the room followed by a wide, thin light that did a quick sweep of the room.]

Wow. Okay, that's three.

Oh wow, that... actually worked. [He smiles widely.] Go me. Um... [He thinks some more.] Two to beam up?

[The transporter sound plays and Korra raises her eyebrows.]

That's a new one. Hey! Maybe I should leave it with you for a little bit. See what commands you find. That's spice up the bar pretty nice. I'll even pay you with some cheesy tots. They're the new snack, kedan are crazy for them.

Sure, I'll work for cheesy tots. [He'll also work for pretty much any other form of absurd compensation, or even for free, because he's been filthy rich his whole life and has no functional concept of proportional exchange of goods and services for the purpose of making a living.] If I open it back up again, I can just access the programming directly and tell you what all the commands are.

That works even better! If you want to mess around with it, maybe add other things, I'm okay with that.

[She grins.]

Never met a Stark I didn't trust.

Glad to hear it. [Tony Stark is always trustworthy and responsible LOL YEAH RIGHT.]

I'm not sure how long this part will take. Do you want to stick around, or should I come drop it off later at the— what's it called again? The Blazing Turtle?

[Show her the truth, Tony.]

Drop it off! I’ll be there. Besides, I’m lost on the whole tech thing. [She stands up, hands on her hips.] Close. Brazen Turtle. It’s in the very center of Keeliai, you can’t miss it.
