Wan had sent the messages from his console after spending a few hours mediating under his lantern. It was all the time he was going to spare for that consideration while he still felt that Zuko needed him there. Not all the time, since he was getting better and obviously so, but enough that he wanted to stay with him in the building that had been secured from further intrusions by violent kedan.

He wasn't going to wait for messages back, just hope that the people he contacted would come.

For those who've heard about this indirectly and want in

Wan had gotten the word out mostly through Dante and Michelangelo, and had high hopes that whomever they contacted would get in touch with him. Since they knew so many more people than he did. He was nervous, but he'd given both firm answers about where he could be found. And maybe, just maybe, they could get organized enough to pull this off. Without Wan's soul being ripped apart or swallowed by the vastness of Asti's own personality and lifeforce.

He listened to her and remained quiet after she finished. The silence was obviously over him giving the idea the thought and consideration it needed rather than one of condemnation. Despite his trust in her, this was really the first time she'd been open about what the darkness within her was. What it could do. What she could do if she chose it. The fact that she continued to fight that side of herself made him more confident in the trust he'd given to her.

That was mostly what his thoughts revolved around, rather than if he should try it or not. Because there wasn't really a better plan so far. He nodded, "Okay. We can try that. I've already spoken to Dante and he's going to be trying to help get people together to cause distractions and see if anyone knows how possession in this world works. Or if they know any good locations for doing this that will make it easier. If we can't find any, then we'll be doing this at the Turtle's Head."

A beat: "Unless you need to do this at a specific place on the Great Turtle's body?"

The silence dragged on for so long, she thought she might die from the lack of response. What she was offering to do was more dangerous than anything she had ever done, including taking on the archangel Michael. She didn't even know if she could pull it off, much less if it was even possible. The first time she had done it by complete accident and now adding in the factor of carrying someone with her...she was such an idiot.

Then the silence broke. She stiffened when he told her they could try it. And then he mentioned Dante and distractions. They would definitely need distractions, but it meant that more people might get hurt.

"I just need physical contact with the being in question, it will help ensure that the void doesn't touch anyone else by accident." The last thing she needed was to accidently rip one her ally's souls from them.

"Raine mentioned a place other than the turtle's head, but she said that it was dangerous to go there." She hadn't actually mentioned where the location was, "That she would have died if she had been alone. I can heal myself, so she doesn't think it would affect me, but it would affect anyone else that came with me."

"Dante mentioned a place as well. From what he was saying, I think it's likely the same place. And it's within the palace," he said with a calm he didn't entirely feel. But one he needed to keep if he was going think clearly.

"But he didn't speak of anything other than potential enemies trying to oppose us. If that is all it is, then Zuko should be able to hold them off until we're done."

"I'm not sure," she replied, "Raine made it sound as if it was hard to get to, but there is a spot in the palace that..." she paused again, thinking, "Boosted my power."

The ritual chamber wasn't pretty, and it didn't help with the physical contact, but the power boost, if it didn't consume her, might make success more likely.

"But it adds a whole new dimension to the dangers associated with this plan."

"Boosted your-" Wan cut himself off. "It would give the darkness inside you more power and make it more difficult to fight. Is that the danger?"

"Yes." There was nothing else to say, if the power of the void was boosted then it was possible that not even Raava could protect Wan. "Last time I was there, I was able to push it away, but I can't use the void without using the darkness."

"Then we won't do it there," he said firmly. "I will not risk making that battle more difficult than it already is for you. We'll do it at the Turtle's head if no other places can be found."

She released the breath she had been holding, the ritual chamber was dangerous, it would be best if they found another place.

"I'll talk to Raine," She said, hoping that the light mage would have a better location, "But the turtle's head might be the first place Mali would expect us to attack."

Wan smiled again, weakly, "Thank you. But if we are attacked, regardless of where it is, Zuko will be able to hold off anyone coming after us until we're done trying. The influence of the poison has begun to fade. He'll be able to do that."

Valdis nodded, "You have no idea how relieved I am to hear that he is getting better."

It would mean that she wouldn't have to kill him like she had promised.

Wan glanced over to where Zuko had been sitting quietly, his smile softening just a touch before he looked back at Valdis, "It's something everyone is happy about. He's been sick too long. Thank you again, for coming. I don't know that if there's much more we can talk about until we've had a chance to talk to others."

"Yes," Valdis agreed, turning back towards the window, "I'll let you know what Raine says via turtle."

"Okay. Yin or Rio'era can get the message to me. Rio'era is mine, and Yin is Zuko's."
