EVENT | LANDFALL | EVIDET
Characters: ALL!
Date: January 28th to February 11th
Location: Evidet
Situation: Tu Vishan has washed up near the coastal city of Khatronma.
Warnings/Rating: Add warnings as needed.

The suddenness of the looming cliffs takes even the kedan by surprise, in spite of a number of them trying to plot their course with as much knowledge of the ocean’s currents as they already had. Tu Vishan makes landfall without any of the grace shown in previous times, bumping into the cliffs before finally coming to rest on the reef and rocks at the low tide around Khatronma.
Most of Khatronma's shores consist of steep iced cliffs, and once it becomes clear there is no threat, the residents of Khatronma oblige by establishing scaffolding across from the walls of their city to the turtle’s back. A customs area is quickly set apart, and the residents of Keeliai welcomed -- with some slight confusion. The Khatronmans are just as surprised by the unexpected docking as the kedan.

"Then I am ready at your command." He cant help but give a half smile, he's been bored this is at least exciting.

"Then let's go."
She led the way through the streets, across the scaffolding, through customs and into the city of Khatronma. While she was patient despite the persistent tug in her chest, now that they were in the city, she moved with haste, almost as if she knew where she was going. She checked back every once in awhile to see if Nelo was still following.
"Sorry," She said when she realized that she hadn't said a single thing the whole time she'd been leading him through the strange city. "I'm not entirely certain where we're going, but we seem to be getting closer."

"Don't apologize. It is perfectly fine." He was fascinated by everything but he kept it drawn in like he would under order. Least he wander off.
"Are you tracking someone?" Maybe he should have gotten one of those cheap knives Dante had bought him. Too late though.

"I'm not sure," She admitted, "It's hard to explain, but something is calling me and I feel that I must answer."
Never mind that it felt similar to the summons of her pack, she knew that they were not around. Never mind that it sounded crazy or could be dangerous. It was a strange desire that she couldn't deny now that she had begun to chase it.

A flash of pale silvery-gold caught the light and she paused, turning her head to observe the scrap heap more closely. Jagged, sharp metal pointed out of the pile, rusted, barely worth looking over, but the glint of gold drew her closer.
She reached out and pushed aside a piece of rusted sheet metal so that she could see the object more closely. The blade looked dull, but with some polish and sharpening it could do it's job once again. She reached out to take the hilt, but as her fingers closed around it, the sword began to glow.

"It needs a bit of love, but a fine blade indeed." Of course he just meant in look.

She felt a surge in her own soul as the Angelic magic protecting it burned away at the Void. The blade began to shift in her hand as she pulled it from the pile, glowing brighter and brighter in response to the magic that it felt she possessed. Then the glow faded and the sword shone bright golden in the sun, it's keen edge razor sharp and the red jewel in its hilt continued to pulse with light. The blade was without equal in it's craftsmanship.
"This is Revelations," She looked from the sword to Nelo, "This is the sword that restored my soul."
no subject
"You lacked a soul?" He knew only what he had been told, that and if she had told him more he had been in a state of stress so he may have lost it. "It does not look like any sword I have seen before." If it was holy it would hurt him if he touched it. Thanks Mundus.
CW: Blood
She began to move the sword through different stances, as if she was facing an opponent. It was light and balanced, easy to handle if one had the skill.
"But instead of destroying me, the blade pulled my soul from the Void, reassembled it and has since protected it from my darker powers."
She paused, allowing the point of the blade to tip downwards as she lowered her arm, "Or at least so says the Archangel. By all rights I shouldn't even be able to touch the blade." She changed hands to touch the blade experimentally and accidently cut her hand on the sharp edge. Blood welled up out of the cut and began to slowly drip to the ground and Valdis looked at it, a mixture of awe and confusion on her face as the cut didn't begin to heal.
"Interesting."
CW: Blood
"You are a warrior as well." He spoke, noting the change in stance no amateur would be able to hold a sword and look that natural with it. "This must be what was calling you." He was impressed to say the least, watching the blood drip he didnt step forward, merely watched.

"I have fought in many battles," She replied, slipping the sword into her belt, she would have to acquire a proper sheath for it later. "But none as terrible as the one in which the Archangel wielded Revelations against me."

It seemed to him the big reason for being here was done, maybe a profit could be turned if possible. If not he was fine with that too. There are days he hates being at his new found brother's care. He feels he should be able to provide for himself... except he's been worried since he got ripped off.
"Though, before it slips my mind, I would like to heal of this battle."
no subject
"It seems that my power is not entirely compatible with that of Revelations." She said quietly. She turned to Nelo when he mentioned battle, a frown on her face.
"What do you mean?"

"I would love to share it," She replied, "But perhaps not here. Maybe once we get back to the Midnight Hotel."
no subject
"So, again, do you think if we took any of this metal we could turn a profit of it?"
no subject
"I'm certain that the Kedan would love to get their hands on some of this," she replied, "But don't take too much, we are guests here and don't want to offend our hosts."
no subject
"I promise to not take long, I do wish to hear this story." he really did, he could use something exciting.

She planned on scavenging a bit as well.
"Then we can go back together."
no subject
He smiled a little, todays gonna be nice.

"We should get back before Dante wonders where you've wandered off to." She said.
no subject
"I would hope he wouldn't worry. I am quite capable of caring for myself." He spoke in his normal tone. "shall we be off then?"
