[OPEN] Red, blue, orange and green. No yellow snow cones!
Characters: Jack Frost, OPEN
Date: Backdated to the afternoon of Jan 11th
Location: At one of the playgrounds in Keeliai.
Situation: Deciding to surprise some kedan kids as they're getting out of school at the end of the week, Jack provides snow cones.
Warnings/Rating: CUTE?
It had taken quite a few trips to the various markets scattered around the city when he finally found what he was looking for in the Fire Sector: little pots of flavoured syrup. Jack had happily forked over his juulan for a wide selection of them and had brought them to a playground where he knew that children liked to visit once they were out of school. At the end of the week, Jack wanted to give them a special treat.
Now he was sitting on a picnic table with a pile of the cleanest, purest snow he could conjure and a field of cups ready for small hands to fill them before getting dollops of sweet syrup. Pretty soon kids were flocking to the playground with excited laughter as they told their friends, and their friends told more friends. It didn't take long for murmurings about "the snow boy!" to start making its way around.

She found him three kids deep. Laughing, and his attention completely focused on the miniature crowd. Something told her this was going to be a habit between them.
"I don't suppose you have cherry?"

Seeing Jack was enough to snap her out of her reverie, and she approached his table curiously. Whatever he was making, it seemed to be something edible.
"What's that?"

He stands a little off to the side, observing for now. "Snow boy" was kind of a literal name, though it's no surprise. Jack Frost. Guess he lives up to his name.
Dick gives Jack a little wave.

And then he reached the playground, and, wow. He hadn't seen this many kids this excited since the welcoming festival, really, and that was... Bucky shook his head. Then leaned against one of the support for the swings to watch, a small smile playing on his lips.
Thing was? He could see ice-cream. And the kids. But not who was giving it to them.

Which, however, eased some when he sees who is in the hub of all the hullabaloo.
He let those of the young kedan that he knew rush to get their treats, while he himself walked over to where Jack was sitting, leaning slightly against the nearest. Plaything. (He was sure he could think of its name if he tried, but he didn't need to.)
"Oh. It's you. I should have guessed."
Because the way Jack had watched over the children when they were defenseless, asleep, without causing them harm - it was sufficient to let Damian give the youth some credit. Like that he wasn't trying to poison them.

Le sigh. I didn't know the tag was going to work this way.
it happens sometimes!
It does.

Rather than go straight over to him, she finds a spot on one of the low walls that surrounds the playground, her legs curled up to her chest with her arms wrapped around them, perched close enough to hear the kids excitedly talking to Jack and trying to decide what flavours they want. Children have been on her mind recently, after the strained conversation with Dick left her wondering if anything they do in their line of busineess is right, and then the... argument with Santo and Vic, has her thinking about the kids in her life. Damian, Nell. Her daughter. It leaves a sort of tightness in her chest, something like fear, that she isn't sure what to do about.
So she sits and watches, quiet for now, but she'll wave to Jack if he happens to look in her direction.

It was hard to miss the kids running by with snow-cones, so out of curiosity Kyle followed them back to the source, and found Jack in the midst of it all, handing out cones... well who was he to turn down free food?
'Got a green one?'
