[She's bundled up with a coat herself, and for once, a set of pants. When the other girl speaks up, Peggy looks over, a frown on her face.]

I wish I couldn't. The numbers just seem to keep growing.

[notdreaming]

I have a bad feeling about this.

[ She frowns up at the bodies. With her Kryptonian vision she can see almost every detail. They give her the heebie jeebies. ]

It doesn't seem natural, right?

[shootingshields]

[Peggy shakes her head. Sighs.] Not in the slightest. I can only wonder if this as normal as the apparent turtle diving was.

[She looks out over the bodies again.]

Emperor's business indeed. [Sounding a little irritated over that? Yes. Yes, she is. You don't shove off something like this as the Emperor's business.]

[notdreaming]

They don't seem concerned. Assuming they've even noticed. [ You have to be really looking to see the congregation of corpses. Although it's a lot easier with x-ray vision. She hasn't noticed many kedan looking up. ]

I hope this doesn't mean trouble.

[shootingshields]

I suspect some of them must have. The police force, at least. [Given the extent to which Evandau and his men were on top of everything, surely they were aware.]

I find when we have to hope for no trouble, trouble is usually exactly what follows. [Peggy might be an optimist, but she's also a realist. And there's been a trend of trouble on the turtle, most of which has been lacking recently.]

That's true. [ And generally when you think there's trouble there is. ]

There isn't much we can do about it now, though.

[shootingshields]

We can prepare for potential combat. There's no telling what to expect, exactly, but we can prepare for something. But it'd be better than just waiting.

[notdreaming]

Prepare how? [ And is it anything she can help with? ]

[shootingshields]

[She sighs a little, though not at the question.]

Potential safe places, for starters. Continue asking around - there must be at least one kedan willing to share something.

And weaponry, if we've got it - just make sure it's more easily accessible, if it's not already.

[notdreaming]

[ Kara nods, mentally taking notes. ]

I can do that. I'll help.

I feel like people should be made aware of these corpses, too, if they haven't been already. It's hard to tell, with how normal the kedan treat everything.

[notdreaming]

I've told a few people that there are bodies out there. This is new. [ But she will definitely get right on that. ]

[shootingshields]

Good. There's no telling what might happen should they get through the barrier.

[notdreaming]

[ Kara shudders. The way Peggy said that, like they're actively trying to. Like they're alive.

She did just learn about zombie movies. ]

Whatever happens, we'll be prepared, right?

I certainly hope so. If the kedan were prepared for an underwater dive, perhaps this, too, is something they prepare for.
