[Open Log] Don't you Worry 'bout a thing
Characters: Members of the Foreigners' Guild
Date: Beginning of May
Location: Welcome Center
Situation: Trying to figure out just how this thing is going to work
Warnings/Rating: none to start; will update if needed

Today, the Center is...not quite closed, because it was never closed, but the sign out front was a little more specific than usual: indicating that those who had chosen to align themselves with the Foreigners' Guild to stop by at their convenience for a group discussion. Word of mouth was the primary means of getting the information out, but just in case, Zatanna was nearby with a checklist making sure to get names of not only who showed up, but of any known members who did not. So that they could be contacted at a later time and kept in the loop.
For her part, the 19-year-old was sitting casually in her favorite armchair by the fireplace (though currently lit, was emitting very little heat, indicating a more magical nature. For ambiance, mainly) and not-quite-facilitating the entire process. Her body language gave little indication of wanting to step forward as official leader, although she was ready with answers for any who may have had relevant questions.
[[ooc: Characters are encouraged to make their own top levels for open-ended discussion of the state of the Guild; if any of them want to talk to Zatanna specifically, indicate in the subject level and she'll come around.]]

That much hadn't changed in all the time she'd been here.

"I see what you're still doing. And I do appreciate it." She offered with a light smile. "Hopefully, not too much conflict, especially over something as relative painless as a Guild member tally."

More questions buzzing around in her mind, not only for her curiosity but keeping in mind the personalities and potential concerns of the others. Because that, if nothing else, might hinder some willingness to comply.

"What if we also offered a copy to each of the other Guild heads? As a show of good faith. I'm sure they would be interested in knowing who's in what, and it wouldn't seem like we were hoarding information that they could find useful too?"
no subject
"That's a good idea," She said, "They have a right to know who is where for similar reasons."
no subject
"If we can have it done by the Courtyard event, that would be great. Everyone'll be all in one place, and we can distribute them then."

She looked around the room.
"I shouldn't take up any more of your time. You have actual guild members to speak to."
no subject
But she smiled as she spoke, so that Valdis would know the response was meant good-naturedly.
"I'll see you around. Good luck."
no subject
Zatanna would be a good leader, she certainly had Valdis' vote.
"Good luck to you too."
