The success of the ball and the relative quiet of the past month had left Valdis with feelings of both joy and concern. Joy in that many enjoyed the ball. Concern in that the Cultists have been quiet since their last attack. She might have been relieved, if not for Alex’s concern over their lack of movements. She would need to put her ear to the ground and see what she could find.

Her classes had resumed with their regular level of involvement so Valdis had been splitting her time between the KPD and the Dojo almost evenly. Hila seemed grumpy about this, preferring that Valdis avoid Bakura altogether. Valdis mostly ignored her on that matter. There wasn't anything she could do about the ka's concerns and unless Zorc manifested into something she could actually fight, there was little point in worrying. Her final class for the day had just finished, so Valdis went around tidying up, putting everything back in it's proper place before retrieving both Revelations and Genesis from where she had left them.
