EVENT | LANDFALL | IOA ELANAG MINGLE LOG #2
Characters: ALL!
Date: December-January
Location: Ioa Elanag
Situation: Having been moored at Ioa Elanag for over a month, the Foreigners seem no closer to deciphering the mysteries of the empty village. But that doesn't mean there aren't still strange things happening...
Warnings/Rating: Add warnings as needed.

Around midmonth, the Foreigners will be contacted once again by a vision of Tu Vishan, in the same appearance of a young man they saw back in October when he informed them they were needing to make landfall. Although he seems healthy and rested enough, his image also seems very distracted, even going so far as to trail off mid-sentence while relaying his new message.
"I wanted to let you know that I'm feeling much better with the bit of rest. There is something coming, however, a... storm. Do you also feel it? I will ride it out here, and leave when it's over."
Unlike the previous times when they've received visions from Asti, however, this one will not end with the calm and peaceful sensation of his departure. Instead, it will be abrupt and jolting, like they've just received a sharp electrical shock. Some people may even wake up to discover a persistent nosebleed.

Please direct questions to the OOC post! Don't forget to label your top-levels with specific locations, and remember that Tu Vishan's radius that powers the soul gems only extends ten miles inland. This mingle log will be active for January's regular AC as well, as December AC in only a check-in.

WILDLIFE
It might have taken a bit of time, but the Bibiru appear to have wised up, and they're becoming increasingly more wary of anyone approaching. Those who have been fed and or petted by people last month might still be coaxed nearby, but their default reaction is now to scatter if anyone gets too close.
The Aphaufa on the other hand, act about the same. Although a few of them have been taken down in coordinated hunts, it doesn't seem to have been enough to spook them as a general rule. They're still as ornery as ever, and will attack if they feel threatened, and a couple of kedan have actually died by being trampled and, in one case, severely gored. (To be fair, they were trying to reenact something like a 'running of the bulls' at the time.)
The real problem lately however, are the Munga. It seems they've figured out how to hitchhike, and they've been stowing away in bags, boots, clothes, and carts that are going back to Keeliai. There have already been several reports of people being stung by them in their own homes. The Munga's aggressive nature and lack of fear of larger opponents is contributing to the problem, as is the fact that there aren't many predatory animals (or animals at all) on the turtle shell. At this rate, they could become very problematic, very quickly.
There was a brief interest in them by the Noals who've been living on Tu Vishan, the sparrow-sized birds that the Foreigners first encountered on Tavimbi, although they are indeed native to Ioa Elanag and have been nesting on the turtle for the last several months. But many of the Munga are the same size or bigger than the Noals, so they're not very effective. They don't, however, appear to be affected by the spiny lizards' venom.
