Metal Sector
However, on the other hand, these powers aren't naturally hers. As a result, she feels no particular need to disguise herself or even wear a mask. Easy enough to explain--even truthfully--that this is temporary... but that doesn't mean she's not stepping in.
(Besides, while Clark's grounded--literally--she feels obligated to step in.)
Metal Sector has the most one-off crimes, so she spends quite a lot of time dropping in and out, even patrolling to some degree, because it's rare she gets to take out her dislike for criminals quite like this.

And he didn't have any now. Whatever that spell thing was, it seemed to pass over him, much to both his delight, and his sadness. It would have been fun to gain powers. Maybe see what being ten or fifty would be like.
But now was not the time, as he had to keep up with more now then usual. Nightwing was seen all over Keeliai lately, but definitely in the metal sector. So, obviously when he sees Lois Lane flying around near where he is on the roof? That makes him grin.
"Where's your mask and costume? You can't be flying around without some spandex going on!" Dick teased her.

She lands fairly neatly and gives him a grin. "One thing I haven't found in this place is spandex. For some reason kedan shops don't seem to go in for it." And secretly she's kind of glad, because 'but there isn't a place to get traditional hero outfits' makes a great argument if she and Clark actually get into that rather silly discussion.
Also, she is not going to be designing clothing when there are better things to do.
"Besides, why bother? Zatanna's going to get this fixed or else get murdered sooner or later. Sooner, if she values breathing." Someone is not happy about this.

He shrugged. "I don't know. I clearly don't have powers, and never have. I'm a pretty normal guy, and I seem to do some good without having to wait for Zatanna to get her act together." He'll agree that she needs to do it soon, though. He's going to keep an eye on her.
In case someone decides to make good on their threat.

And then, after a moment, the smile turns sardonic. "And frankly no one from home, at least, would be surprised the powers are Kryptonian."
Her connection to Superman isn't a basic-tenet-of-life to people from other worlds here, but still.
Day 6
She turns a corner, glancing over her shoulder at a kedan loosely resembling Lex at a quick glance, and finds herself very nearly crashing into a woman. Hayley reels back just in time to avoid the collision, blinking and immediately holding her hands out in a passive sign of conflict avoidance.
"Hey, sorry, I-" She begins, but cuts off when she sees it's Lois. It's not that Hayley's upset with her at all, but things with both Superman and Clark are pretty complicated and Lois is kind of naturally in the middle of all of it whether she wants to be or not. The truth is, Hayley has no idea how to start that kind of conversation or figure it out. Awkwardly, she continues, "..was just, uh.. Never mind."
She shrugs and shakes her head as if whatever she was going to say wasn't important in the slightest.

Lois has never before had to play counselor to so many teens. Then again, Clark has never been in such frequent contact with teens (and apparently putting his foot in it almost every time). After a moment she sighs--perhaps a little dramatically--and rolls her eyes.
"Oh no you don't," is the firm order. "I have heard two stories at this point. You can tell me your side, and then we'll see if we can't get this straightened out before I get a migraine."
no subject
The girl is half tempted to roll her eyes, to match Lois' exasperated gesture. Instead, she simply switches into belligerent teenager mode. "My side of what, Lois?"
no subject
(Frankly, her own family history leaves her totally unaware that her manner wouldn't be at all out of line for some mothers.)
"Whatever the hell has both of them all twisted up--Clark's been fretting, and Superman, well, he's nonplussed. He doesn't usually reactions like that, especially from kids your age. But they're also both grown men and not people I'd expect to come close to grasping what's going through a teenage girl's mind. So. What's going on?"
no subject
Clearly she's not thrilled about that at all. Clark talking to Lois is one thing. It's expected. But Superman passing his concerns about Hayley on to the pair of them is something she's slowly coming to hate more and more.
After a beat, Hayley huffs with intentional petulance. Then her tone is slightly more sincere while clearly frustrated. "I have no idea what you're talking about, Lois. You're really going to have to give me a clue."
